Hi, I am new to this site and I am in desperate need of some advice of how to effectively lose weight while taking phentermine. I have been prescribed phentermine in addition to Lasix. Please advise of a game plan that has worked for you and actually helped lose weight while taking this medication. For example, a walking routine, diet, or exercise plan. Thanks in advance.

Welcome! I stopped drinking everything but water, because I know sodas are my downfall! And I was for about an hour ad a half a day. I got on the scale on day two just for kicks and I had lost two pounds. I haven't been on the scale since trying to stay strong until my doctor appointment on the 8th of October. But I figured if I'm doing someting wrong I would like to know so that maybe I have a chance to alter it. But I kbnow you have to drink lots of water.

Hello Latae08. Everyone of us are so different, that what works for one does not work for another. I had great success with low carbing during my first month. I have since switched to Weight Watchers Core plan. I absolutley love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some ladies on here don't do much of a diet at all. They still eat brownies and drink beer and have great success. As far as exercise goes, just make sure that you do it at least 3x a week, and for 30 minutes. Also, it needs to get your heart rate up to burn the fat, so essentially some type of cardio. I walk 2 miles on Tue. Thurs. and Sat along with pilates. And on Mon. Wed. and Fri. I do strength training. Good luck to you and I hope you find a plan that works!!!

I just started on Phen a week ago I already lost 7 lbs, so far this is working for me I take a mild water pill as well and a multi-v along with a b-12 shot once a week. The works lol!!! but I am excited to get results this is a long time coming for me. Now that I see all the success stories I fell very optimistic. What I do notice though is I now crave water which is great before I didn't drink much water unless it was fruit20 but now I love water. I hope all of you have a great deal of luck and keep on pushing!
