Hello everybody.
I've been on this board longing and waiting for my chance to start phen. I'm up to 192 pounds, the biggest I've ever been after have a baby. This is my 3rd baby and my LAST baby. It has also proven to be the hardest in getting the weight off.
I finally met with a doctor today (thank you to a lady here on the boards) that perscribes phentermine. I met with him today and he's a great doctor and will usually only perscribe phen for up to 6 months, will allow people to take a break, then they can go back on it for a bit if they want. I'm so excited to use phen again. I had great success almost 2 years ago on phen, lost 35 pounds in about 4 months. I felt great and was exercising a lot, eating right and then I got preggo with #3. I can't wait to get started TOMORROW - hit the gym for an hour or so and get back on the band-wagon of being healthy.
I have a few questions before I sign off tonight:
1. When I used this before, I had a horrible time sleeping. I've read stuff about melatonin? Can I get this at a health food store? I need something that is going to work VERY good. I can't afford to be up until 2 or 3 a.m. when I stay at home with 3 small children. I've tried unisom before, and it helped a tiny bit, but not a lot. I was taking my pill at 5:30 a.m. Any other suggestions that will "knock me out" for atleast 6-7 hours?
2. Constipation: I read also on here someting about Dr. Natura and the fiber capsules. I also will be using miralax too everyday, to ensure I don't get constipated, just wondering about any other things that would help for constipation besides fiber and water? I think I did water and fiber too much too fast last time and that caused a lot of problems. For me, I have to go super slow. Any other thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
Wish me luck, thanks a lot for the advice and tips.
Thanks.
