Hi everyone my name is david ! I just joined medi weight loss clinics, and started phen today ! Let me tell you, its not a easy as I thought it was going to be. I am taking the 35 mg tablet 3 times a day. It works, but sometimes it feels as if it doesn't. Im only supposed to be eating 500 calories a day, and doing exercise for 30 minutes. I think thats a little unhealthy but im going to do it. I need some encouragement though. Its been tuff today. I feel hungry and im not supposed to eat anymore ! uhh this is like the hardest thing i've ever had to do and its only the first day !


Hopefully its gets better

500 Calories?? That is crazy! I started Phen today also. I am excited and just really hope this is the extra push my body needs!

NEW SCALES ARE 5 LBS HIGHER THAN MY OLD ONES, SO I ADDED 5 LBS TO MY CURRENT & STARTING WT AS TO KEEP MY TOTAL LOSS CORRECT.

TOTAL LOSS - 126 LBS!!

500 cal a day???? That's crazy!!!! You should have at least 1200. Has anyone ever taken Phen 35 mg 3 times a day????

Welcome!! You're taking the phendimetrazine(phenD) instead of phentermine(phen). I tried the phenD but couldn't remember to take it 3x a day. Hope you have good luck with it. As for the 500cals a day...is your dr. on crack?! Men shouldn't go below 1,500cals a day. Just because they day to follow 500cals a day, you don't have too....it's not healthy for anyone. Good luck!

Wow, Good luck! I too am wondering about the 500 calories a day. That sounds WAY too low. I've always heard that eating TOO little will make your system think it's being starved & actually make it hold onto the fat to protect itself. So, isn't that defeating the purpose of taking the Phen? Cutting back to a reasonable amount of calories is one thing. Starving yourself is another. I have to agree with Goth. I think your Doctor must be on crack. LOL.

I agree with everyone else. 500 cals a day is way too little!!!! Are you sure its not 500 per meal? This diet will not work out for you if you are starving your body. I really hope the doc is wrong. I couldn't make it on 500 cals a day either.

David, there is no way you'll be able to stick to a diet that strict...there's just no way...you are use to eating much more than that and it's going to be too tough to deal with after a few days...trust me..been there, done that...you'll crash off your journey to lose weight if you don't do it right...whoever put you on this 500 calorie a day diet was nuts...

Read this site...you'll understand why you can't keep doing this 500 a day thing..it's just not healthy..

I wanna say thank you to all of you for the words of wisdom. I know it may sound insane about the 500 cal thing. But in all honesty, i haven't been eating even that much. I know, i have to basically force myself to eat. I only ate 290 cals today. I maybe loosing weight but I know its not the right way. I go to the doctor thursday and will talk to him about it. Until then im going to continue to follow his instructions.

Again thank you for all your concerns and words of wisdom ! I will keep you updated on my progress. And good luck to you all on your journey also !

Ok so this is probably the best news ever!!!! I went to the doc's today and got weighed ! I lost 13.4 lbs !!!!!!!!!

I talked to him about the cal thing & me being worried that im not eating enough. He told me I should start eating 700 cals a day along with 1 cup of veggies. Thats a little better than last week at least ! I hope to see some great results next week too !!!

I'll be sure to keep everyone posted with my success' !
