Default Cannot Sleep At All
Yesterday was one week on Adipex. I've lost 14 pounds. I have no appetite whatsoever. I cannot sleep though. I lie in bed 4-5 hours before I fall asleep. I even take Benedryl and it does not help at all. I'm a 2nd shifter so I do take it a little later. But by the time I want to go to sleep, it's been at least 15 hours since I took the med. Can anyone help? I need some sleep.

Thanks

I just started taking phen 4 days ago and am having the same problem. I take it at like 8:00 in the morning and it's been between 2 and 3 am before I finally fall asleep every night. I'm the exact same way... I lay in bed, shut the light off and just stare at the darkness. If I figure anything out - i'll sure let you know.

I do not have this issue but hopefully this will ear off!!!! Before I started taking Phen maybe seven months ago I used to have that problem but I was always thinking about something anywho I began to use a product " Aromatherapy Sleep" from bath & body works I would put it in my tub or shower with it they also have it as a pillow mist I spray it and sleep like a baby. If your problem still exists maybe you wanna try that but maybe your bosy just has to get used to the Phen. I went to sleep maybe an hour later than usual my first couple of days on Phen but not anymore so hope this helps.

Happy Losing!!!

I did the same thing for an entire week. But Benadryl and Tylenol PM helped me to sleep eventually. However, the insomnia went away after the first week or so. Hang in there, I think it will pass. And good luck with your weight loss!

Try taking half a pill in the morning, instead of a whole one.
I had that problem at first but it wears off after a while. I notice if i do a very hard workout in the morning i am not as energized during the day and when it's bedtime I am knocked out!!
Just some suggestions. I also get up really early like 4:30 and take mine at 5:30.

ive been on phen for 6months & i still have problems sleeping!! the med. assistant @ the clinic i go 2 says that the time of day really affects how you will sleep b/c she said it stays in your system for 16hrs. I try n take it in the morning but if I'm still struggling with sleep I just pop an Advil PM and that always helps.
The proof is in the pics!!! <3

When I first started Phen in June, I slept very little. There were times when my body would let me catch a power nap but I found I wasn't exhausted or overtired. I just saw this awake time as an extension to my day! Instead of trying to sleep, embrace this extra awake time to do do things, such as clean out a closet, reread a favorite book, watch a dvd you didn't have time to before.

It's been 2 months and I still sleep less than I did before. Sometimes I wonder if the sleep I was getting before wasn't an "overweight coma" and this is the new normal for me?

Good luck in your weight loss program!

Blessings
