Exercise will help... eating clean and removing the bad carbs helps too. For me, I went to an endicronologist that told me my metabolism was dead

I then found out I had PCOS and insulin resistance and I just couldn't eat carbs... only leafy veggies and sometimes whole grains in very small amounts, same with fruit... once I started doing that, the weight started coming off finally... slow, but it was coming off. If you have a slugglish metabolism, you have to work harder... you need to fuel your body every few hours and exercise to get it moving again... things just happen a little slower. Good luck.
