Journey to weighing 150 lbs....
Hi everyone,
My name is Susan and this is it. I am 48, soon to be 49 and finally at a place in my life, where I can spend the needed time I deserve on myself for healthier eating and exercising. Since April, I have lost 25 lbs. Most of it in the last two months. My goal now is to get under 230 lbs. I am approaching this in 10 lb increments.
I take phentermine 37.5, half at 6 am and the other half around 2 pm. I also take Rodex Forte, a vitamin B-12 supplements that a diet clinic once prescribed for me to help my body continue to respond to phentermine and not get used to it.
I try to walk 2 miles a day and found that exercise for me is the key to not wanting to overeat.
I would love to find someone or a group here to correspond with at least weekly for motivation. Please reply with suggestions! I now have 86 lbs to lose. I'd like to have it off before I turn 50.
I am semiretired and in the past gained weight due to being a work-a-holic and not spending enough time investing in my personal body. I ate instead of sleeping. And the stress I experienced, really gave me belly fat I am working hard to get off now.
In the past, I was an all or nothing person. Family and work were more important and more demanding upon my body than I was. NO-MORE.
I am excited to join this group and share my stories and struggles as well as help others experiencing the same.
I have made up my mind to enjoy myself throughout my journey to weight loss and not wait until I get there. The journey getting there is going to be almost identical to my journey to maintain my loss afterwards. I better find a way to enjoy it.
Susan
