I started on Phentermine back in December 2007, as of today I have lost 40lbs. My doctor put me on a 1200 calorie diet and told me to exercise. I stayed at or below my calories to a tee. I got off all sodas, diet and regular, and tried watching my sodium intake. I drank water, water and more water!! I did not however exercise, I would be lying if I said I did!

I went from a size 16 to a size 8. I lost 14 inches from my waist. It was hard work!!
So, here I am now - no longer on Phentermine. And it is scary. I worry that I won't be able to keep it off. I gained 2 lbs back, and the fear is setting in. I started getting comfortable in the fact that I lost the weight and hadn't watched my calories as closely - and starting drinking more diet soda's and eating things that I wouldn't have done before. Today I started drinking water, no more soda's, watching my calories closely. The girls at work and I have started a Jump Rope club, we are all going to jump rope at home counting each jump, then record what we achieved. I think exercise and calorie control is going to be key for me to keep the weight off.
If anyone out there has any additional ideas or suggestions I welcome them. Also, anyone who has been where I am now, how did you do it!? Thanks and I look forward to meeting some new buddies!
