Default opinions needed..
Okay, a few times I have been faced with this and have not known what to do. I usually eat the most calories for dinner. I try not to eat anything past 7pm.

Okay, if it is way past 7pm, like 8-9pm or later and I haven't had a chance to eat dinner yet, but not had say more than 500-600 calories that day should I go ahead and eat or not eat but have a larger breakfast?

I am trying to eat 1100-1200 calories a day.

I think if you havent had a chance to eat dinner and its after 7 u need to still eat. U dont want to b sittin there hungry and messn up ur matabolism. maybe just something not so heavy

me too i try to eat before 7 and that dont work just try to eat light and u will still lose the weight

I agree. I try hard to make my 7pm cut off but I get off of work at 6pm and I get home by 7:30pm. What I've been doing is eating a light dinner around 8pm. Usually chix breast or salmon with a small salad or by itself. Then I'm up for another 2hours busy with household duties and children so I'm still burning calories.

are u eating more at dinner because u are hungrier?

if so, eat smaller meals 2-3-4 hours apart during the day, or carry nuts with u or some celery or baby carrots to munch on.

and dont skip breakfast, it is the most important meal of the day. they say to eat breakfast within 30 min of waking to jumpstart that metabolism for the day!! u must eat to burnnn fat.

Hello,
I agree with all the ladies my cut off is 8 pm. However when I can't make the cut off I still eat BUT I HAVE TO DO AT LEAST 20 MINUTES OF VIGOROUS EXCERCISE. Alot of the gurus are saying that we should be doing 20-30 minutes after dinner anyway. So try to eat at least every 3-4 hours and if you eat later just make sure you do an activity.




Highest Non-Pregnancy related weight 03/08: 279
1st Weigh-in 6/18: 262
2nd Weigh-in 7/15: 249
7/25: 244

1st Mini goal: 230 by 08/14
2nd mini goal: 220 by 10/15
3rd mini goal : 210-215 by 12/15 my B-day

Goals subject to change based on how I look and feel as I lose weight. 42lbs LOSS I AM MORE THAN1/2 WAY TO MY GOAL!!!!!!!!

Italianbella, I'm not really eating more because I'm more hungry, I guess it is the type of food and we sit down at the table with the kids. I don't sit with the kids at breakfast or lunch because I'm usually doing something else so I just eat while doing my chores. Also, I want to eat what I fix for dinner, even if it's a more high calorie meal, then I just eat a small amount. I am trying to be very careful with what I do because of my two daughters. I don't want them to think they have to diet because mommy's dieting, ya know. My oldest has weighed 60 lbs. for quiet a while and the other day she got on the scale and it said 58 lbs. and she got excited. We had to have a talk....
