Default Need some Help
Hi Ladies,
In need of some suggestions, been taking Phen for about three weeks and only lost about 8lbs, I noticed others have lost double that in the same time frame... I'm eating less and cut out sweets and junk all together... I've been walking about three to four days a week about a half hour... wondering if anyone had a suggestion to something else I could to doing or eating to help it come off? Some special diet plan in combination.. weight watchers or nutrasystem?? Thanks in advance

welcome! to me, it sounds like ur doing a good job so far. ur weight may just be coming off slower b/c u dont weigh as much as others. I lost 12 lbs in 3 weeks, but I was 240.5 lbs when I started, so I guess what I'm trying to say is that u losing 8lbs in 3 weeks sounds pretty good. A lot of people on the boards however are doing low carb or weight watchers with lots of success. good luck

Thanks, it makes me feel a little bit better about it! I picked up some weight watchers meals to have in the house so I won't be tempted to eat extra portions... It's just so hard to keep checking the scale and it hasn't moved much in over a week... I was hoping for at least a pound last week... Oh well... all I can do is not fall off track... the other thing is I'm not drinking much during the day, I think I need to up my water intake. thanks again

I was just going to say the same thing. You aren't as heavy, so it probably will come off a little slower. Just give it some time, it will come off. Keep eating small, well-balanced meals and keep exercising.

I posted this on another person's thread too, but Nutriystem is great if you need portion control. Good food and I always felt fulfilled. There is chocolate for dessert too and it really tastes like chocolate. I lost about 20 lbs in 2.5 months, but gained it back when I stopped (I didn't work out and I ate terrible - totally my fault).

I bought my Nutrisytem from QVC, waaaaay cheaper. It's "weekends off" but I actually liked that.

Hi Kell,
I am from Philly too. I like Fat Smash!!!! I don't think it is all that restrictive and you can tweak it to your liking. Also what are you doing for your workout. As Bob on the Biggest Loser always says "Little girls have to work much harder" I don't know where you live but if you are a member of Bally's maybe one day we could hook up for a workout. NO OBLIGATIONS JUST A THOUGHT. I will post the Fat Smash 1st Phase.

I live in the N.E. my workout is walking 30 to 40 mins about three four times a week..sometimes with the stroller which is slower but I seem to get tried faster and without it I go a lot faster and sweat more. So its a toss up.... I have a elipitical machine but its in parts on my basement floor, need the hubby to put it back together for me...I stink at anything to do with tools Anyway... I use to go to Ballys back in the day when I was a total stick (before the kids came) Now its a matter of finding the time to get to a gym, my hubby works late so I'm watching the kids until he gets home, so usually I walk after he gets home. Once my elipitacal is set up I think the pounds should come off a little quicker... I hope... I have't heard of Fat Smash... any info would be great!! thanks

I follow the Weight Watchers core program and lost 5 lbs my first week. All it is is high protein, vegies and fruit. The only free carbs I can have are whole wheat pasta, brown rice, oatmeal, cream of what. I get approximately 2800 calories a week free for junk, alcohol, etc.

Default Here's What My Doc told me to do
Hi ~ Well losing any amount of weight it great. My doctor told me to walk or run 5-10 miles per day 5 days a week. Also, to start either a high protein diet or to get on weight watchers to lose the weight quicker. Hope that helps you

I've been on it three weeks too bu t I only lost ike 5lbs - 8 if I weigh in the morning. I hate to excersize but if we want to see the results that most of these do we have to amp up the workouts and burn burn burn! I stick to low carbs and low calories and don;t eat really late. I only drink water and sometimes green tea and I eat a few almonds in between meals to rev up that metabolism. Really didn;t start dieting til the 11th because of 4th of July and family came into town... I am determined to really start working out since now I can control the food I eat. The elliptical is a really good idea!!!

I am on WW Core too! I love that program! It has definitely made all the difference in the world for me! You really need to drink a lot of water!! Good luck!

I'm on wellbutrin with mine and i follow atkins. I think your doing great. I probably lost so fast because i'm bigger than you and I just weaned my daughter. My body finally decided to release that stored fat and my milk dried up.

Kellbell - you are beautiful - and remind me of Geena Davis.

One good thing to keep in mind is the slower the weight comes off - the more likely it stays off.
Also - if you are cutting back and cutting out the junk ... that's EXACTLY the way you could eat for life / you make that a habit and you wont have to dread maintaning.
