Red face Hello from Michigan
Hello everyone. My name is Brandi and I am from Michigan. I am married and have 3 kids. My doc just placed me on these meds. I took my first pill this am, and starting my diet.

I have a LOT of weight to lose, and I am very scared about doing it. I have tried every diet thats out there and failed. So my doc thought I should try a low cal diet and these pills.

I really want to lose the weight, and hope I dont fall off again. I thought this time, joing a forum and having people going through what I am, sort of a support system, might make things a lil easier on me. I am basically surrounded by skinny people, so they just dont get how hard it really is.

I look forward to getting to know some of you, and having people who know what I am going through.

Forget to say. I am currently at my highest weight of 260 and would liek to get to 180 (and then see from there) so I need to lose 80 pounds, yikes that sounds so scarry.

Hi Brandi, and welcome to the forum. I know it sounds scary to have to lose 80lbs but just break those down into 10lbs at a time. Before you know it, it will be 40lbs then 30..and so on. This people on this forum are wonderful and we motivate each other. I know you will be successful this go round. Good luck on your new journey!!!

Hello Brandi. I am new to this too. I just started 3 days ago. I am also scared. I am now 272 lb and it is not pretty....sure, I am tall, 6.2 ft but the weight needs to come off. My first goal is 250 lb....and I am hoping that it is doable. As Socialite said, get a mini goal, otherwise it is too overwhelming.

I am also a "Professional dieter"...tried everything out there....but I am hoping that this pill will help me with the overeating. I just wanted to say hello, and say that you are so not alone in this struggle. And the women on this site seems to be awesome, so I think we are in good hands!

Thanks both of you! Ya I think I will set some mini goals, that seems to sound a lot better, and a lot less scarry. LOL

Tallgirl- Your pretty close to what I weigh and what I want to be. lol. So looks like we will be in this one together. LOL , I am not as tall though, only 5''5 but I so know what you mean about it not being pretty. lol.

Hello again!
Yes, I kind of know that my Goal Weight is far off...and for me personally, I am a woman who wants to look like a woman with curves and boobs. You know.....?! I do not want to look like a 12 year old boy in the body. So, a more realistic goal is probably 200 lb for me. Nope....199....I have to break that 200 mark!!!

Question, how did you get that ticker ting at the bottom of your email, showing your weight loss?

I am just wondering what you are eating while you are on this? Are you eating anything special to get as many nutirents as possible? I am having Slim Fast shakes right now. I just want to make sure that I am getting all the vitamins etc.... But I am already getting tired of that so I have to find good food to eat....In small portions!! I know.... HA!

I hear you about the curves. I like everything about me, except my belly. My boobs are nice, my legs and theighs are good, my arms are good. I carry all the weight in my belly. well I could use some more weight on the butt. But you know. LOL>

That I am not to sure on. I think I should be taking some sort of vitamins or something. I bought some fruits for vitamins, some Fat free yogurt things like that. All have good vitamins. Eating lean meat helps with the protien. Drinking TONS and TONS of water. lol. Other then, not to sure.

I do use this place www.fitday.com It has where I list all my foods, weight, goals, work outs etc, and you can pull reports. In these reports you can find out what you are missing out on, it will give you charts of your intake on nutirents and how much you should be having. So I am gonna pull a chart in a few days to see what I am missing and then adjust as I need to.
