Talking Hello from Kentucky
Hi all. I started phen July 3rd and I am currently 191 lbs. My mission is to be to 135 lbs by the end of this year. I over the years have steadily put the weight on. In my younger days I was around 110 to 120, I am now 37 and not unrealistic so I would be so so happy with 135. I am ready to feel better, to have my mobility improve and be able to walk up a hill without being out of breath. My mission is to be comfortable with myself, healthier and happier.

You and I are around the same starting weight, and looking for close to the same goals. I also started Phen the same day as you! So it will be cool to chat with each other about our progress.

I wish you all the luck. Do you know how much weight you've lost so far?

Welcome and good luck!! You'll do just fine MyMission, I completely understand about putting weight on over the years. I used to think 145 lbs was heavy, now I dream of that!!! I just got 100 lbs to get rid of first! LOL!! That's alright because this is the year that I'm getting back on the right path of healthy. I may not lose it all this year but I'm going to do my damndest to lose about half of it this year! And you can do it too!!! Good luck!

Thanks everyone. Losing12, if my scales are correct with the ones at the doctors office, then it looks like I have lost 3 lbs. Sunny, I know exactly what you mean about how I used to think that 145 was overweight and was wishing I could lose the weight, now I truly know what overweight is and would love to see 145 again. I will though, I do have confidence in that.

I'm a KY girl, too!! I started a little over 4 weeks ago. I lost 7.5 lbs the first 2 weeks and then .5 at the next 2 week weigh in. I was a little disappointed but it was my TOM and I had just returned the night before from a week in Disney World. I just found this site tonight. I have been only sleeping a couple of hours a night lately and it just hit me that the med may have something to do with that. DUH...anyway, was glad to find the site and see that others have been going on little to no sleep when they first start. Good luck.

Pretty good so far. I'm on my fifth week. I lost 7.5 lbs the first two weeks and then only .5 lbs the next two weeks (I did spend a week in Disney World though and it was my TOM). I have suddenly developed the insomnia. I slept 3 hours the night before last and didn't go to bed until 6:15 this morning and got up at 9:45. I'm really hoping to lose more during this 2 week period (my dr has me come in every 2 weeks to weigh and check BP). The pix I've seen on this site are amazing!! Very motivational!

Yesss, I have had the problem sleeping also, but the weird thing was that during the day I was still feeling pretty good and still going strong (guess that is the phen). I have not weighed myself since a few days ago and that was about 3 pounds lost. Since starting phen I have felt really good and I am absolutely enjoying this newfound energy that I desperately needed. I have turned my house inside out and upside down cleaning, when that is done I will start going back to the gym.
