New to phentermine....the website and pill
My name is Amber, I am 27 years old. I have been married to a great man for a little over 4 years now. We had our first child in March 08' She is my world! Anyway, I have been dieting on and off my whole life, I have tried so many different pills and the only thing that worked for me in the past was Ephedra....and then they took it off the market.....but as soon as I stopped taking it I quickly gained back the weight I had lost so rapidly. I am very tall for a woman....6'0" so I can pack on the pounds without noticing as much. Before I got pregnant I weighed 260 pounds. I didn't look like I weighed that much to others, but I knew it and that was the worst. I didn't gain hardly any weight with my pregnancy, I think my metabolism was higher when I was pregnant. Anyway I went on a diet after I had my baby, and I went from 260 to 238 in a couple of months by just watching my portions and moving around a little more.
I am currently being treated for post pardum depression with Zoloft, I have heard that zoloft in addition to phentermine can actually boost the weight loss. I have also heard that it is hard to lose weight on Zoloft. I guess I will see for myself.
I am very determined to really kick my own *** this time, I am serious about becoming healthy and looking better for myself and my family. My goal is to get down to 175....and trust me for my height thats a stick! Thats the most my diet program center will ever allow me to get down to.
I have been taking phentermine since Tuesday (July 1st) I am doing the calorie restriction diet because I know the low carb high protein way will just be another yo yo diet for me. I am still trying to stay really low on carbs and cut out sugar....but I don't think it's the right choice for me. I need to change my lifestyle for good, not for a few months until I lose a big chunk of weight and then eat "normal" again and gain it all back to end up being depressed even more. The diet center where I get my pills urges everyone to do a strict low carb high protein diet, so I am wondering how most other people lose weight with phentermine? Is the low carb high protein the norm recommendation with this drug?
I have noticed in the whole 3 days I have taken the pills, that I am not hungry ever. I could go all day and not eat a thing if I didn't make myself eat something. I am worried that when I get used to the pills they will not be as effective.....I am also worried that if they don't lose thier effectiveness that when I lose my weight and stop taking the phentermine that I will gain it back because I will feel hungry again.
If anyone has any info on any of my concerns and questions please let me know.
Obviously I am new to this....I have so much to say, so many questions. I hope this will help keep me on track and by posting on here weekly I can become accountable for everything I do with my diet by people who are doing the same thing.
Happy Fat burning!
-Amber
