Talking HI and HELP!!
Hello everyone!!

I'm new to phentermine. I have been looking at this group for a while now and I could not wait to join. Its just day 2 and i'm taking 1/2 phen twice a day. It really weird but usually I'm calling the hogs about this time of night and now I'm WIDE AWAKE!! I do have a question already. I'm a married, southern girl. I cook real food for my family. For example tonight I made beef steaks, gravy and white rice. Besides just saying no, does anyone have any suggestions or best practices they use to stay on tack and keep focus on losing the weight while still providing for other family food needs?. I would appreciate anny feed back. Thanks and i look forward to getting to know you all.

OMG, I live 60 miles from you! Anyway... I have implemented my family into my diet. They have no choice in the matter, if they want dinner cooked for them that is. lol. I mean we still eat rice occasionally etc... and I will often add a little something for them that I won't eat due to my diet. But for the most part, hubby is in on this too so it's easy to eat better here. I save the majority of my calories for our evening dinner/family time in order to still feel the "homey" feel and togetherness and still eat stuff I love... it's just all in moderation now.

I prepare what I want and what my family is used to. I have changed it up a little bit. My famiily is eating healthier now. The kids don't like it much but they know they have to deal with it. I fix them the meat and potatos thing and I eat my steamed veggies and whatever I have a hankering for at the time. Limiting portions I've learned here is the secret. Tonight we had BBQ ribs (boneless lean and baked) green beans and corn. I had 1 piece of rib and some green beans, small portions.
SW: 275 (6-18-08)
CW: 262 ( WAHOOOO!!! 6-25-08)
CW: 262 (GRRRRR @ TOM 7-02-08)
CW: 249 (Minigoal met!!!!! YAY ME!!!! 07-09-08)
CW: 254 (GAINED! 07-16-08)
CW: 249 (NO PHEN 07-30-08)
CW: 246 (Still no PHEN 08-06-08)
Next Mini Goal: 225
Short term goal: 25lbs by October 15, 08
Goal Weight: 150
