Default To weigh or not to weigh?
Well the great debate on how often to weigh. Some say once a week, others say everyday. Just wondering what you all think. I am a scale junkie. So of course when I got on the scale this morning, after only 2 days on Phen, I was greatly dissapointed. Sigh....
Hope everyone is doing fine and would appreciate some feedback.

I am a scale junkie too. I weigh everyday but I know I shouldn't. I try not to let the number bother me so much as I want to lose inches more. So if you are working out a lot and not seeing the lbs come off it doesn't mean you aren't losing inches, kwim?

After only 2 days don't get disappointed....it takes time and just keep eating right and exercising.

I do weigh myself everyday. I cant help it! It helps me stay motivated though. I try not to weigh the day after I do weights at the gym though. I am always a pound more after that!

Okay... you all are gonna laugh... or scold me. I way everyday first thing in the morning after I get up and use the restroom. That is the only number I pay attention to. However, I have a bad habit of getting on the scale everytime I go into the bathroom that has the scale. I don't know why. The numbers don't matter. I guess I just get curious. Oh well, I only count the first one anyway.

I am a scale junkie too I have to be honest i weight myself every morning before I get dressed for work. Don't get discourage just hang in there you will see result.


Before Phen 189 lbs,

First Month on Phe. May 10th weight 174 LBS. Down - 15 Picture was taken then

Second Month June 7th weight 164 LBs. Down -10

Third Month July 2th weight 160 LBS. Down -4

Same for me.... I actually go off my weight in the morning ( soon as I wake up & go potty ), I also weight myself before bed too...I like seeing the scale being very close to what I got that morning...Makes me sleep better knowing the results in the morning are going to be positive!

I weigh once a week, but I have to have dh hide the scale from me,otherwise it would be every hour! I get dissapointed when I don't see what I want. I did get on this morning, after only 3 days of phen. I was impressed. That's only becasue I've had a headache for 3 days and I've been nauseous. I kind of wish I waited for the one week point, so I could be really impressed!

I weighed on my scales before I left Monday to go to the clinic and they said 271.3...I started taking the phen Tuesday...Today (Wednesday) I weighed about the same time of day and my scales say 268.1...woohoo I know weight fluctuates tremendously and tomorrow my scales might say 270...I think that's why they say not to weigh everyday...because of the fluctuation...

Now my question is.........are any of you finding it hard to eat? I bout gag just looking at food and that's bad...I own a restaurant...lol
I'm just finding it very hard to want to eat any thing at all....Nibbled a very little yesterday and today I barely nibbled again but I just forced down a small salad...




Can ya tell a difference in the avatar pic and this one? I think all my weight came off my face...lol

I don't have any problems avoiding scales. I am so accustomed to seeing bad numbers, I think it's mentally healthier for me to stay completely away. I make myself get on it once a week, and even then it's like dragging a dog to a bath.

I'm a daily one... I do it to stay motivated... I truly only count the once a week weigh in though. I use all the in between days to know whether or not I need to get my act together before the "real deal".

On your second question: I found it VERY hard to eat at first, but YOU HAVE TO! Try eating some light things, if nothing else, like yogurt, fruit, cheese. (I don't avoid carbs, just keep it all in moderation!)

I am a recovering scale junkie too. I know it's silly but I weigh myself every time I use the restroom

So I have to hide the scale from myself. Well, it's not actually hidden(just out of sight)

I put it in a place that's not very easy to get to like all the way in the back of a closet so that I would have to climb and reach and have stuff fall out of the closet just to get to it I know...sad but true

Actually the last time that I put it(put them...ok I have 2) away for a few days I had lost a few lbs when I got them out. So it's great when u only weigh once or twice a wk and notice a few lbs missing vs weighing 10x a day and you're 8oz heavier than u were 30 mins ago but 1 lb less than 2 hours ago

You scale junkies know exactly what I mean...off to hide the scale

I would say once a week. Im going to try that because if those numbers dont change it could discourage you. Stay focused on how your clothes fit and if you feel lighter on your feet! Goodluck

I get on everyday, sometimes 2 or 3 times. I even take it on diff floors to make sure it's right! I cant help it.
