Wink just another newbie!
Hi everyone!
I am obviously a newbie, but I have been lurking for a few weeks. Not only am I new to this site, but also to blogging-you guys are my first! lol! I can honestly say I've never done this before! (thats why I was hesitant about posting). But everyone is so supportive and fun, I thought I'd finally jump on.
My name is Ronnette (Ronne, hey you, mom or mooooommmmm....) n8rgrl best describes me tho' as I love being outside and in nature, and animals (except crunchy bugs-I just can't handle those!)
I am happily married to Roger for 11 years and have 4 beautiful children-Alex (11 going on 24), Malea-9 (wishing she was 11), Chase 3 1/2 (just now going thru the terrible 2's), and Cole 14 months. I have been a stay at home mom and we actually home-schooled until last fall, when I decided to go back to school full time. I am studying animal sciences at the University of Illinois (GO ILLINI!).
I have been battling my weight for a long time. After each baby, I would try something new to lose the weight, but have never reached my goal. I would lose for a while, but then either put it back on, or get pregnant again! (Do NOT believe the commercials when they say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!)
I have had success with Meridia, but it is very expensive, and I was on phen after my 3rd, and I decided to try again. I actually read on here somewhere about phen-d and just got done trying it. I was only on for 2 weeks, and the dry mouth and mood swings were more than I could handle, so I am going back on phen. Plus I was actually really tired!
This time I started around 200# (I'm 5'2"), then I started on the phen-d on May 22 at 194, and I weighed last Friday and was at 190. I have tried low cal, low carb, juicing & raw type diets and they all work-for as long as I can stand them. This time I am trying to just cut back on the junk and be more aware of what is going in. We are not having any more children, so I would like to just get healthy for the first time in a long time. (I'd really like to look better for my study abroad trip to Thailand next month too!)
I am looking forward to being here with everyone. From what I've read, everyone is so supportive, positive, and fun, and I am hoping to be able to get your support, and be here for you too!
And since it is REALLY late (2am here), and I am pretty tired, I am sorry but I have no inspiring message right now. I am just looking forward to sharing my journey with all of you! God Bless! (and sorry this is sooooo long!)

Welcome N8rgrl!! If you go to the FAQ link at the top right side of the screen it gives you instructions on adding pics, that's how I learned. Good luck and we'll see you around the site!

Hi!
Your signature will appear below the text each time you post.

1- Go to your "User CP"

2- Go to "edit signature" on the left side menu

3- In the first part of the page you can preview your current signature (this will be empty if it is your first time).
In the second part, use the text box to write whatever you want to appear in your signature.
And in the third part, upload your image using an URL or uploading it from your computer.

3.1- Remember, if entering a URL the image must already be saved somewhere on the internet (You may need to save your file to an image storage site such as webshots.com, photobucket.com or flickr.com).

3.2- Remember, if you upload an image from your computer, files can be no larger than 500 x 200 pixels or 43.5KB

4- Then click on "save changes" and your image will appear in the signature preview. Like this:

5- Now, click on the blue link "insert signature picture" which will insert it at the end of the text box with this code (without spaces):
[ SIGPIC ] [ / SIGPIC ]
You can move the code to wherever you want it in the text. This option only allows you to insert one signature picture.

6- Please don't forget to click "save changes" at the bottom of the page!!

If you want to upload more than one signature picture, you will need to do it by entering the URL where you have stored the images. You can add them by clicking in the landscape button in the menu of the signature text box.

I hope that helps!
Susanne.
