Default I'M READY
HELLO EVERYONE! MY NAME IS ANGEL I STARTED PHEN FRIDAY, JUNE 6, AND IT'S SO AMAZING HOW MY APPETITE HAS CHANGED SO FAST. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HEAVY, I LOVE FOOD. I EAT WHEN I AM HAPPY, SAD OR ANY OTHER OCCASSION THAT MAY COME. I WOULD GO TO BED WONDERING WHAT I WAS GOING EAT THE NEXT DAY. MY WEIGHT HAS NEVER BOTHERED ME IN THE PAST BUT LATELY I HAVE BEEN VERY DEPRESSED AND WORRIED ABOUT HOW I LOOK AND FEEL. THERE WERE NIGHTS WHEN I WENT TO BED WORRIED THAT I MIGHT WAKE UP THE NEXT MORNING. I LOST MY MOTHER AT A VERY YOUNG AGE AND MY WORST FEAR IS NOT BEING AROUND FOR MY TWO CHILDREN AND YOUNGER SISTER. I AM TIRED OF HEARING "YOU HAVE A PRETTY FACE BUT.................."! THAT IS NOT A COMPLIMENT TO ME.

WHEN I JOINED THIS SITE LAST WEEK I WAS ASHAMED BECAUSE MY CURRENT WEIGHT IS SO MUCH MORE THAN EVERYONE ELSE. ALMOST EVERYONE'S CURRENT WEIGHT IS WHERE I AM STRIVING TO GET TO (THAT'S SO SAD). I AM NOT TRYING TO GET SKINNY BUT I DO WANT TO FEEL AND LOOK GOOD. I WILL NEED ALL THE ADVICE AND SUPPORT THAT YOU ALL CAN OFFER TO HELP ME WITH MY JOURNEY.

It's not sad; you're trying to do something about it, aren't you? That's AWESOME! You're trying to get healthier for your kids and your sister, and most importantly yourself. That's awesome x 2, in my humble opinion.

I totally know how you feel - and while I can't speak for everyone else here, I'd be willing to bet most of us have felt that way or feel that way now. I'm also an emotional eater, which I think can make it twice as hard to eat healthy and develop healthy eating habits.

While I don't post a lot I'm here just about every day reading, and the people here are so friendly and helpful. So if you have questions, don't be afraid to ask! Most common advice seems to be drink water - lots and lots of water, make yourself eat at regular (2-4 hour) intervals; even if you're not really hungry, and get in any type of exercise you're able to do ... even if it's just taking a basket of clothes upstairs yourself instead of someone else doing it.

So, welcome!!

Welcome Wings!! And we are here whenever you need us. Trust! And I mean whenever!! These forums are addictive!! I'm on all times of the night. So when I can't sleep cause of the Phen I'm on the site!! LOL!!!

Seriously though you will find the greatest group of supportive individuals on this site. If you have a question, just ask it and you'll get a response. If you don't want to send it out in the open forum just send someone a private message and they'll respond that way too. I look forward to seeing you around the place!! Welcome aboard Wings! I bet we have all felt the scared and sad feelings you have been feeling at one point or another. It's only natural. Dont dwell on how you go here or how you feel. Make the change and don't look back. I started my journey at 347 lbs and I never thought I would be where I am today. When we are bigger we think it will be so hard to lose the weight, but the reality is that the bigger you are the more you can lose. I swear the weight is just melting off. Choose an eating plan...low carb.....high protein...whatever fits our lifestyle and stick with it. Limit your calories. You will read a lot of advise about how many to eat and most will say around 1200, but that is not enough for a bigger person. I was doing that and wasnt getting the proper fuel to run my body. My doctor has increased me 1800 now, and I contunue to lose! Drink lots of water but not too much. My doc recomends about 90 oz. Stay focused and lean on all of us here. This place can be a great inspiration if you let it be. Remember.....Phen is a tool not the answer. This will take a lot of work and commitment on your part. If you do yours the phen will do its!
