Hello everyone!
I am a third time user of Phentermine. I just started taking it again on Friday. I was wondering if anyone has ever had any of the same health problems as myself and was wondering if there has been any connection to Phen?
I first started taking Phen July 2006. Into my 6th week, I was down 15 lbs, and next thing I know, I find myself in the hospital...later to get my gall bladder removed. The next 4 months were spent in and out of the hospital for multiple procedures and a diagnosis of acute pancreatitis. I finally got my PICC line (basically a feeding tube) out 3 days before Christmas 2006.
I decided to try the Phen again June 2007. I only lost 1.5 lbs in a matter of 6 weeks. I gave up. Next thing I knew, I was gaining an unbelieveable amount of weight, I was exhausted all the time and wasn't feeling up to par.
In March of 2008, I found out that I have a gluten allergy AND adrenal exhaustion!!! Needless to say, I'm LIVING on supplements just to get my adrenals function back to normal...and to top it all off, after using Flonase for months, I just realized that the steroids in it cause weight gain!!!
Ugh....anyway, I've decided to go back on the phen to try to lose the mysterious 20lbs that I have gained. I even tried a detox diet to lose weight and I lost a whole 2 lbs in three weeks!!!!

Has anyone else ever had these kinds of issues? And if so, has any doctor ever given you any sound advice and/or directed the problem towards taking phentermine??

Oh, and just to clarify...I was at my goal weight when I got sick in August 2006..and now I'm 20lbs over. :(
