Question New, Just started Phen on Saturday!
Hello All,

I'm very happy to find this forum for support. I will be married for 2 years in August and since my marriage I've gained a horrifying 60 pounds. How is that possible? I ask myself that everyday! Its effected every part of my life. I need to get out of this lull!

I've noticed just in these few days that my appetite has gone down drastically. I'm going to start exercising today. Is it true that you have increased energy when you exercise?

From your experience are there any particular foods to stay away from? Obviously the normal ones. Any foods that have helped spike your exercise and curb your appetite also. I'm doing this on my own right now and I'd love to hear anyone's story or daily regimen.

I've always "yo yoed" diet. Has anyone found it better to take the medication before breakfast or after? Would there be a difference you would see. I eat a very light breakfast because usually I'm not hungry at all in the morning. The night time is what kills me!

First let me say welcome! If you have a problem with snacking at night I would suggest taking your pill later in the day. So after breakfast would probably be best for you. As for foods that help curb you appetite, eating lots of lean protein (chicken, fish, turkey) and foods with fiber, help you feel full longer.

I don't really have a regimen, I just take it one day at a time. Again, welcome. I wish you all the best.

Welcome! Yes, the weight is possible. I lost 50lbs and gained most of it back within 4 months due to extreme stress in my life. I take my pill around 7:30am and am like you, not hungry in the mornings. I don't do things the 'normal' way that everyone else does, that's probably why I've been trying to lose this weight for 4 years.

Try calorie counting. Search for calorie-count and join(it's free). It's a great site to keep track of everything. I still eat what I want(when I do eat) but then I exercise afterwards. I posted my struggle with weight loss on here a few weeks back. I've been taking Phen off and on for 4 years and it's not easy.

What mg are you taking? Some cut the pills in half and take half in the morning and the other half in the afternoon. Good luck!

WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME. I can totally relate to marriage and weight gain. I did the same thing 80lbs though. I feel like a cheated my husband. So I am working extra hard to get down so he can enjoy the sexy woman he married. I use b12 liquid drops right before my work out, it really gives me that extra boost I need, because I take the pill in the morning and workout at night. I eat a light breakfast just to start my metabolism and then I take my pill an 1 1/2 later.
