Wink need support-got support read on woohoo!
Hi, I've been on phentermine for 2 months now and have lost 19 pounds. I started 219, so down to 200. I'm constantly freaking out about eating things. I've had a history of bulimia when i was younger...about 15 years ago. but if I can't control the amount of what I'm eating I have to throw it up still. That's just been me for the last 15 years. It only happens about once a month...but recently a little more b/c I'm so set on losing weight. I'm in journalism, and I want to look good in front of the public eye.

I have fibromyalgia pretty bad and that keeps me from being able to do cardio and weights and any sports and running. Walking is okay, on certain days. I can see the weight just dropping off, but it's not fast enough. And I get so tempted. I dont by or eat chips anymore so that's good. I buy 100 cal snacks.

I just find myself having to use a lot more willpower...and we all know how hard that is. what do I do? what can I eat that fills me up w/ hardly any calories?

I'm on a 1300 cal/day diet give or take a few.

Hi Jayme. Welcome. I'm new myself, but I couldn't help but post. I too have dealt with bulimia. I struggle everytime I eat. Thank goodness it has been over 11 years since I have made myself throw up. I know how hard it is to feel like you eat too much and then feel guilty. Heck, lately I've felt guily eating 1100 a day. I am slowly learning to eat to live instead of living to eat. Basically, I just wanted you to know that if you need support I will try to be there for you.

Also the more you try to purge the more you are just "maintaining" the weight. It takes more and more to lose weight. And as you get older (not sure how old you are) it gets harder and harder to even maintain.

Some of the snacks that I have been eating is:
salmon cup (individual cups like the tuna)
beef jerky
protien bar
pork rinds
apples and peanut butter

I hope some of this helps.

Try adding more protein to your diet.

Lean chicken
Fish
Tureky

Do NOT bring foods into your home that require you to use WILLPOWER. Stick to healthy snacks, grapes, apples are really filling, and drink water, water, and more water.

Hey thanks guys, sorry was busy doing finals and stuff for college, it's been hectic. Mom's in town from AZ and sis is having a baby...in fact she's at the hospital now, but he just doesn't wanna come yet! lol

So I'm doing so much better, in fact, tonight, I ate a 1/2 a homemade smores..let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing!!!!

I've been on the phentermine diet for 11 weeks now, and today I stepped on the scale, and was exactly 30 pounds lighter.

I lost like 3-4 pounds this week (stressed from finals, I'm sure).

30 pounds though! OMG! It's crazy! I am gaining my self confidence back, my face is slimming, my boobs are getting a little smaller (size E to start), I've gone from a 17/18 jeans to 13/14 and after a couple hours of wearing, they get a little baggy now too.

I bought a couple large size shirts...was wearing 1X, (2X for sweaters or coats),

My hair's getting long for the first time since I was like 9 y/o. I need to post some pics!! It's about 3 inches below my neck line. Maybe more, I don't know, but all I do know, is the compliments are starting to roll in and my husband can't keep his hands off me lol.

Oh, and I'm 30, be 31 this summer. ewww! 31! what an ugly number lol. I like just being 30.

Thanks for listening

Jayme

The bad thing about 31 is knowing the next birthday will be 32! No, not really. I'm 31 and I don't feel old at all... 30 is the new 20! Congratulations on your journey... you seem to be doing great. I can hardly wait until I get to a 30 pound loss! Keep it up and please continue to share your success and let us know if you need us!

Hey I've been doing a lot better. I am down to 180 pounds as of today when I was weighed. That's 39 pounds since March (I think that's when I started lol)

So, does anyone lose all this weight just to put it back on after they've gone off the pill? A general PA told me he didn't like this stuff b/c of the weight issues after people go off and I haven't seen, so do you gain all your weight back after? I mean b/c I have really trained myself how to eat better, so I think if you follow that, one should be fine.
