breast feeding and phentermine?
i am very over weight and currently breast feeding. is there anybody else out there that is taken phentermine and breast feeding?

I don't think you can take Phen while breastfeeding. My doctor strictly advised against it. I took Phen before trying to get pregnant in 2006 and he made me get off of Phen for a month before trying to conceive. He said it could cause major birth defects, etc. After my daughter was born he said I couldn't take it until I finished breast feeding. My prescription bottle every month has a huge red label on it warning pregnant and breast feeding women NOT to take Phen because of harm to the baby. Have you already started taking Phen?? I would make sure I consulted a doctor ASAP!

I dont think you can take phentermine while breast feeding. That might be something you ask you Dr. first.

THATS A BIG NO.. YOU CAN NOT TAKE PHEN WHILE BREAST FEEDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THAT IS VER BAD FOR THE BABY..

If you google phentermine, It will definitely tell you not to take it while pregnant or breastfeeding. It is not known whether Phentermine is excreted in the breast milk.
