Red face What is the difference in MG
Im on the 30mg and still feel hungry at times. I dont know if Im not eating enough or taking it at the wrong times. My Dr. didnt give me direction regarding that he just said it was addictive.

Can any one give adive on when and how to take and tell me what the difference is in the mg. I havent really seen any side effects other than I seem to have trouble sleeping but I take it at 730 am.

I was hoping for a little more wt for my first week but Im just gratful its down. One step at a time I suppose. It took time to gain all the weight it will take time to get it off.

Are you taking it before or after you eat and waiting atleast like an hour or two? I noticed that if i don't wait about atleast 2 hours after i eat to take it, it doesn't seem to work as well for me. So i eat my breakfast at around 7:45am and then i take the phen around 10am and it works better

Navy... 4 lbs your first week is absolutely GREAT! I started on 30mg and the difference between those and 37.5 is that they are time released. That's why you may feel hungrier at times. But, be sure you are eating enough, like every 4 hours, to make sure you aren't starving yourself and your body is saying "FEED ME!".

Yes, empty stomach is the way to take it, either before or after breakfast. When you first start, I recommend taking it BEFORE eating anything, b/c the earlier you take it, the better you can sleep. Once you are on it awhile, if it seems you are more hungry in the evening hours, taking it around 10am, after breakfast will help it last longer through the day/evening. It takes about a month to get used to it and start sleeping again on 30mg. I am on 37.5's now and I take Benadryl or Aleve to help me sleep!

Hi Newbie, I am new also and I like you am taking the 30 mg. I am still hungry in the late evenings also. I have been taking them before breakfast in the mornings. I have not exercised yet but next week I will add exercising into my regimen. I ordered a AB-RAIL exercise machine so I will start using that. I will be on the pills for a full week on Wednesday so please wish me luck and congratulations on your 4 pounds.

hi,

i'm also a newbie. i'm working closely with my doctor and so far so good. i lost 12 lbs the first week but now have my period and i'm dead in the water. i havent gained any weight but i know i am retaining water. does anyone konw if i will start to drop weight again right after or was that first week a fluke? also, i take the 37 and not only do i not feel hungry but i seem to have to force myself to eat. i feel sick to my stomach at times as well. i'm on a 600 cal diet and thought it would be horrible but i cant seem to eat much. i also have dizzy spells. is anyone else experienceing this?

I take the 30mg, yellow capsules and they work much better for me than the 37.5 tablets. I take mine as soon as I wake up and it controls my appetite until about 6:30. I wouldn't want to take it after 8:00am since it does intefere with your sleep schedule. You should experiment and see what works best for you. Good luck!!

I am new to this also, and I lost 4 pounds the first week. I guess if you look at it this way 4lbs per weeks is great!!! I don't really ever feel hungry, just have a little trouble falling asleep at night. I think we will find what works best for us, it may just take some time.............GOOD LUCK

Everyone says it keeps you up but for me, it makes me sleep better actually. Before i started taking it, i would have to take an ambien so that i could fall asleep and stay asleep but i haven't taken my ambien in a few weeks. The only time i noticed trouble falling asleep would be during my afternoon nap (i work nights so i usually don't get to "bed" until 12pm).
