Hey everybody,
Today was the first day that I took a pill. My Dr. prescribed me the 30mg (blue and white speckles with E5000 on them). I took it at 8am then ate an english muffin, egg, and slice of cheese, and promptly threw up 45 minutes later. I don't know if this is a bad reaction to the pill or if it was just nerves getting to me. I'm so excited to start this journey and lose the 40 lbs I need to get rid of...

Did any of you get sick when you first started? I'm expecting to be tired and maybe hungry but... I was hoping they wouldn't make me throw up too.

my dr told me to eat before i took my pill... then wait bout 20 to 30 mins.... i have weak tolerance to meds anyways... i have gotten sick only 1 time * i have only been on it since the 22nd but...* and that was yesterday as soon as i got thru eating then waited took my pill i hopped right up and started cleaning... and all that moving around so quick and me just got thru eating and i think it had a lot to do w/ the heat... i was feeling very sick.. so i sit down drunk me some water for bout 10 mins and cooled off... and then i was okay... anywho! good luck w/ ur weight loss....


oooo btw i was not tired... and have not been hungry... dr put me on 1200 cal day diet and less than 30 gms fat a day.... truth is... i have had a HARD time eating anything!!! im serious i hav e to make myself eat and when im getting full my stomach sure does tell me cuz it will not even let me finish the bite i have in my mouth... well okay good luck with everything!!

Thank you for that tip! My Dr. said to take it about an hour before breakfast... that's no good for me! I took it an hour AFTER breakfast this morning. No headache, no nausea, yay!

Also, just for kicks, I got on the scale yesterday (with an empty stomach) and it said 189 lbs. I got on the scale today (after eating a salad for lunch) and it said 182.5! IS THAT POSSIBLE!?! It's probably water weight, but still. Wow. =)

I GOT SICK THE FIRST DAY I STARTED TAKING PHEN TOO!! I TOOK MY PILL AND FELT GREAT, CLEANED THE HOUSE TOOK THE DOG FOR A LONG WALK, DID LAUNDRY, SHOWERED AND WENT TO WORK. HALF WAY THROUGH WORK I ENDED UP GETTING A REALLY BAD HEADACHE THAT WOULD NOT GO AWAY, WHEN I LEFT WORK THE NAUSEA REALLY KICKED IN. I ACTUALLY HAD TO PULL OVER ON MY WAY HOME FROM WORK TWICE TO GET SICK. I WAS SO SCARED TO TAKE IT AGAIN, BUT I DID ANYWAY AND EVER SINCE I HAVE BEEN FINE THANK GOD. I THINK IT WILL ALL PASS JUST GIVE IT TIME.

I felt really awesome and great the first day (one of the side effects is "a sense of well being" lol) but on the third day I felt horrible for about an hour, I couldn't even think about food or moving. The reason for me though was probably due to low blood sugar, as this med makes me eat very very little. I forced half a yogurt and half a banana down my throat and lay down for half an hour and felt fine.

I am the exact opposite of this. I am never tired. I was even thinking about talking to my doctor about some sleeping pills because I'm sure I need more sleep than I am getting.It takes me forever to finally fall asleep at night, I'm just not tired...

Yes, it's possible. I lost about 11 pounds in 2 days. I would say it could be water weight but it can also be weight loss. I think mine was a combo of both. Welcome to the forums. Everyone here is an interesting bunch and very different from each other. We're all here for the same thing, to lose weight and be thinner, healthier and sexier than we were starting out. And I have found that most people react differently to phen. For the most part, you are energetic and full starting out.

I did not throw up on the first day, but I threw up twice on the sixth days of the pill. One day I had just took the pill, I started doing my workout and had to stop because I got dizzy and felt sick next thing I know I threw up all over!

I threw up twice on the second day of using Phen. I had a very bad headache was very sick to my stomach tried eating and the next thing I knew I got sick. I went Sat and Sun with no problem but today I started taking one a day vitamins and as soon as I took it I ate a banana and not even five mintues later I got sick. I felt pretty good after that but I just got done walking 4.5 miles on the tread mill and did some ab exercises and I feel sick again. I hope this goes away soon.
