HI to everyone!
I have been reading the Forum for a couple of weeks but just registered so I could join in!!
I started taking Phen on 1/8. So far I've lost 11lbs. (until last night when I gained 3, hubby out of town and "girls night with my 3 daughters got outta control!!). I need to loose about 60 more pounds. Ultimately I would like to weigh 125-130. I am 5'4 and haven't weighed that since I got married 15 years ago. I want to loose all this extra weight so I can be healthy, look sexy, and keep up with my 3 kids. I also want to be a good example for them!
I think this forum will really help me stay focused and on track. I am tracking my calories, water intake and exercise on Spark people (started that before Phen). Still struggling to drink as much water as I should. I have managed to give up drinking Diet Coke so I am only drinking water (except for my one coffee/mocha in the morning I can't quite give up yet!) I was trying to exercise 3-4 days a week but my doctor told me I have to commit to at least 60 minutes 5 days a week (preferrably monday-friday he said so that it becomes a part of my regular routine, like going to work, not an option). Unfortunately I am still only getting in 3 or 4 sessions but they are really good 60 mintues of jogging/fast walking. I am doing the "couch to 5K program" and have a goal of running a 5K by the end of March.
Really hoping everyone on the forum will keep me accountable and not let me wimp out this time!! I"m want to be "40 fit and fab" by my birthday in September![]()
