Birth control and Phen - Phentermine.com

Does anyone here take Birth control and phen? Does it effect each other? Should I take the birth control before the phen or vice versa?

I have heard that Phen reduces the effectiveness of BC and actually, two of my friends who were on Phen popped up pregnant in the last two months so I'm thinking it might be true.

I have had luck though, I take my Phen in the morning and then the BC at night. If you are on the patch or shot I'm not sure if it effects it or not.

Okay, whew, I'm glad I asked! I will definitely do what you did, because I am not trying to get pregnant in the process of losing weight, lol!

Hey there!

I am taking brith control and Phen 37.5. I have the best doctor in the world....trust me! It took me 8 months to get my first appointment so that was a good sign. She was so worth the wait. The first doc to actually be on my side and believe me with my weight loss story or lack there of. Ok, I am getting side tracked...I asked her straight out if I could take them at the same time. She said that there was no problem at all. Neither one effects the other. I also had asked the pharmacist before asking my doctor, he said the same thing.

I have been taking both since October....and no babies!

So, no worries, do what is easier!

Height: 6 feet Starting Weight: 240.6 Starting Size Pants: size 16-18 (not sure, I refused to buy bigger clothes) Starting Measurements: Waist 37" Abs 33.5" Thighs 47.5" 11/25.07- Start Phen Short-term Goal- Fit my size 14 pants by my Bday (Jan 24th)
