Is phentermine safe

My Doc, Kaiser, said phentermine is not safe.
I have no other choice. Diet and exercise do me no good.
I weigh 330, 56 years old and scared of getting older at this weight.

I am new, and its good to be here.
I will need another Doc to give me the phentermine.

Hi John and welcome..

You will get so many opinions from so many depending on how they feel about using meds to lose weight and also how much they actually "know" about the drug. Have you gone to web MD and done more research? As to if it's safe or not... there are many factors that would make a yes or no answer to that. All of us are individuals and have different health concerns.

If you are healthy and active and not on any BP or heart meds, I would think phen would be okay (I am not a health professional....). If your doc won't write the script, perhaps you can do a google search on medical weight loss, bariatric docs in your area. I see a doc very south of you in Newport beach.... www weightnomore dot com.

I just found a Doc in Glendale.
It sounds like just what I need.
I go to Kiser, so go figure.

After eight weeks of strict Atkins induction, no weight loss. And I know Atkins works well for most.
Do you know if I can stay on Atkins while taking phertermine?

Ultimately Phentermine takes away the need it doesnt take away the Want ! :-(
You will still have to make sensible healthy choices when it comes to eating but it is soooooooooo much easier to do that when taking Phen.

I forgot to say a lot of people on here do Atkins whilst on Phen.

I am also wondering if this is safe- I am curious to do the MEDI clinic as I have two friends who areliving results of success.I am however scared of what it can do to my heart. I am 30, 228, 5'2 and wanting a change for life. Pls help:P
