It appears that some of you may be having difficulties when registering for these forums.


1. Not receiving activation email ?
Once you have completed the registration you will have been shown this message:

An email has been dispatched to (your email address) with details on how to activate your account. If you have spelt your email address incorrectly please contact us

Please add our email address, forum_mail_2007@phentermine.com, to your email account's Safe Senders list. If you can not find the email in your inbox please check your spam folder.

You MUST follow the link in that email to activate your account. Until you do that, you will not be able to post in the forums.

Check your Spam folder
If you can’t find the activation email in your inbox your email provider may have directed it straight to your Junk/Spam folder. Please check. Please also add forum_mail_2007@phentermine.com to your safe senders/white list of contacts to avoid this happening in the future.

Blocked by provider
If you can not find it in your inbox or in your Junk folder it may be that your email provider has temporarily blocked emails sent by our phentermine.com mail server. This means that you will not be able to receive emails from us using that particular account, this includes the activation email. This is something the Phentermine Team have no control over and are unable to rectify at present.

We believe that users of the following providers are being affected:
hotmail
aol
yahoo
comcast

If you think you are not receiving the activation email we suggest that you try to register with an alternative email account.



2. Can't see your posts ?
Once you have followed the link in the activation email you will be able to sign into your account, edit your User CP and make posts. However, your posts will not be visible to others until an Administrator approves your account.

During the week this should happen within 24 hrs of clicking the activation email link.

In order to be able to help answer your question I would need some more specific info...

How are you trying to ask a question?
- By making a post in the forum?
- By sending a private message?
- Another method?

What is the exact error message you are shown?
What is the URL of page where the message appears?

Get back to me and I'll try and advise you.

Yea,,, i wrote you guys about that becaus i wasnt getting anything...I had a hotmail account, it doesnt have a spam button at all, so i decided to make a new account using yahoo,,and it worked. This post should help out a lot of people!

Hi GSUCheerleader,

Welcome to the Forums!

I hope this information helps. Once you have clicked the link in your activation email you will be able to log into your account, enter your user CP and post messages.

However any posts you make will not be visible to others until an administrator has approved your registration. Your account can only be approved once we have confirmation that you have received the activation email and clicked the link.

During the week you should have to wait no longer than 24 hours between following the link in the activation email and being approved by an administrator.

I realise that this was not originally very clear in my first post, which I apologise for. I have gone back and edited it so that other users are not confused about this registration process.

You should have no problems posting now but if you have any other questions please let us know.

Thanks for your post. Glad to see the advice helped.

You're right different email providers call their Spam folders different names. Hotmail call theirs the 'Junk folder' and it's worth checking when ever you are expecting an email and you can't see it in your inbox.

All that info goes in your signature which can be edited by visiting your User CP. Click the User CP link just next to the picture of the Phentermine Lady holding the scales.

I am a new member and wanted to chat with other members to ask some questions. When I selected Chat my Java Platform software automatically updated to version 1.6. Then I was taken to a screen asking for my nickname which I entered and then hit the connect button. Very briefly a chat windo opened but then closed in less than 3 seconds. I wrote a while ago with issue of not being able to post threads although the site says I can. I did all the things with the cookies you told me, but still can't do it. What else can be done cause everyone else has to post things for me which is a hassle....
