I first replied to the message about why it's important to drink water on October 9, 2000. It's an awesome informational post from member Moonwatcher. Unfortunately my good intentions didn't last, and here I am again, but I'm trying trying trying to get that water down!!!

We Lost the links when the forums where updated and re-categorized....
If anyone knows where they are... I think many people would be interested...

My name is Katy and I was wandering if anybody regained the weight they lost after they got off phentermine. The reason that I was asking was because I was thinking about ordering some or seeing if my cardiologist will prescribe it. I have done pretty good so far. Ive managed to lose 43lbs in 7 months but need help. Anyone have some advice.

I am wondering if someone can tell me if I am eligable to get Phentermine? I just had a baby and my pre pregnancy weight was 123lbs. At that time I was measured for my wedding dress (not knowing that I was expecting...YIKES!) During pregnancy I ballooned up to 175lbs. and had my baby in August. I lost a signifigant amount of weight after the birth but I am still sitting at 138lbs to 140lbs. I have been exercising and eating well but still cant seem to loose the weight and get down below 138lbs. I need to get back to the 123lb mark so I do not have to have extreem alterations done on my beautiful dress! I want to make an appt. at the Jorie Center to get on Phentermine but I am afraid that they will refuse me. I was perscribed phentermine in the past and after I reached a certain point which I do not remember what it was...I was refused. I am 5'6" and am used to being between 120 - 128lbs. I am hoping I can get a prescription of phentermine just to help boost my weight loss. Please let me know if I am an eligible candidate. Thanks!

Hi my name is penny obviously im new here ,now heres the thing first off i have not gotten my pills yet because im not sure which ones to ask for adipex or just plain phentermine or what im so lost .I really want and need to do this and this is the only thing that has worked for me ever but that was 10 years ago when i used these before so this is all new to me again .thanks in advance,penny

Penny,
Phentermine is the generic name for Adipex. They are one in the same. I am new to this, too. I've got lots of questions about what I should eat and how much and why....
I'd love to find all of the answers! I've decided to keep up with my phentermine experience on a blog that I have started. I'm hoping to get some people to visit it and read about what I'm doing to give me some advice. I would venture to guess that you will be denied a prescription for phentermine. But I'm not really sure about that. I guess it depends on the doctor that you go to. My mom, who is a size 8 - 10, wanted to lose 10-15 pounds and asked her doctor for some, and he prescribed it to her! I would say that she did not need to lose any weight, and looks perfectly fine. I'm sure the doctor would agree with me. But, he still did not hesitate to prescribe her the phentermine. I guess the point is that it just depends....
Good luck with your effort to lose those last few pounds! Sounds like you've come a long way already!!
