are these pills dangerous? do they cause heart valve damage? that is what a doctor told me

NO, NO, NO. Your Dr. is not up to date with the facts and is using the Phen-Fen scare for her point. Phentermine is FDA approved and would have been taken off of the market by now if it were causing serious side effects. It has been around a long time and believe me if that were an issue it wouldn't be getting prescribed still.

STAR 1974, I KNOW EXACTLY HOW U FEEL. I JUST STARTED TAKING PHETERMINE ON 8/22/07 AND HAD A LOT OF CONCERNS ALSO. BUT I DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH. I AM SO TIRED OF BEING THE FAT GIRL. I AM CURRENTLY 271 AND I HAVE HIGHBLOOD PRESSURE. I HAVE TRIED ALMOST EVERYTHING AND NOTHING HAS HELPED, SO HOPEFULLY THIS WILL. KEEP US POSTED ON WHAT U DECIDE AND GOOD LUCK!!!
