What other options do you have? You have a lot of options. Have you tried losing the weight on your own yet, or are you just so overwhelmed, you havn't started yet?
First thing I would do is take things into your own hands and start watching what you eat and exercising at least 4 times per week. You lost 70 lbs before on your own(GREAT JOB), you can do it again!! Although, I would not do "NO CARB" because it's hard to stick to for the long term. Second, while you are doing this, I would search around for a Dr. who would be more sympethetic to your situation. Are there any weight loss clinics in your area or weight loss Doctors? Why exactly did your Dr. say he wouldn't give you any?? Do you have high BP? Or is he just a Dr. that doesn't prescribe weight loss meds?
Third, if you can't get a prescription, and you are having trouble losing weight on your own, even while exercising and watching what you eat, then you could consider buying it online. Plenty of people do it, but it's more expensive that way. I would buy from a US based company. I myself have not bought online, but I'm sure the people who have can give you a good recommendation on which site is good.
