I believe that is what is happening to me. I started Phen 4/6 and to date, 8 pounds. I reached that technically early this week. On day 7, the scale said 8 pounds lost, but it was water lost. I restepped on the scale 3 days later and saw 5 pounds added. Yeah, I freaked- but got info from our forums. So, I am still "here". I can say, I am good if I get close to 1,000 calories a day. I have improved tremendously on water intake, and I exercise to the Firm for 40 minutes now and weight lifting 4 days out of the week. Close feel the same and the scale is of no help. So, it has to be not enough calories. So, it really could be that very important factor, calories.
