    HI MY NAME'S REBECCA AND I HAVE BEEN TAKING PHENTERMINE FOR 4 DAYS NOW! LAST TUESDAY I WAS WEIGHED AT THE DOCTOR'S AND I WAS 215 LBS ........BOY WAS I SCARED I HAVE GAINED 15 LBS SENT'S MARCH, THATS ALOT FOR ME I ALWAYS STAY AROUND 200! ANYWAYS I WAS JUST WOUNDERING HOW MUCH WEIGHT I SHOW EXPECT TO LOSE IN MY FIRST WEEKS? I KNOW THAT EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT BUT IF I CAN JUST HEAR A FEW EXSAMPLE'S I THINK THAT WOULD PUSH ME EVEN MORE! DO YOU LOSE ALOT IN THE BEGGINING AND THEN SLOW DOWN OR DOES YOUR BODY JUST KEEP ON LOSING? I HAVE BEEN WORKING OUT AS HARD AS EVER SENTS I WAS WEIGHED LAST TUESDAY AND EATING W A Y BETTER!!!!!!!     Hi Rebecca. Don't get discouraged. I have been on Phen 30mg blue since June 05. From the middle of June til the 1st week in Sept 05, I lost 25lbs. I then plateaued and then lost another 25 before Christmas. Then I plateaued again and lost another 25. I have been maintaining for months now. I still take it a few times a week, but never took it on the weekends. My starting weight is 255 and my current weight is 180. I'd like to lose about 10 more lbs. Sounds easy? Well for some reason I just can't drop the last of it. But it's ok because I am happy with my body now and mentally I feel great. My only advise to you is to keep drinking the water, and keep taking the phen. Don't stop.

    It is different for everyone, but you can be sure if you are working out and eating healthy (at least 1200 calories a day) you will lose it quicker than if you were not working out and starving yourself. I find the more I work out, the more I lose. Sometimes I reach a plateau and I take a break from phen for 8-10 days and get back on it and it jump starts things. I've been on it since May and this is how it's gone for me:
    May lost 5 lbs
    June lost 4 lbs
    July lost 2 lbs
    Aug lost 2 lbs
    Sept lost 2.8 lbs so far

    I could be losing more I think if I would stick to a strict diet, but I fall off the wagon ALOT! I don't want to deprive myself. Some people on here only eat 1200-1500 calories a day, which is really good, but I can't seem to eat less than 1800. If I could just eat about 200 calories less per day, I think I would lose faster!! So, it just depends on how hard you work at it. It's all up to you.

    Tracking calories is the best way to keep yourself in check and see what and how you are eating. I track mine a sparkpeople dot com. Good luck!! Keep working out too, that is the best way to shed pounds and inches, plus makes you healthy all over!! Be sure to give yourself breaks though, or you'll burn out! I take 2 days a week off from working out, Wednesdays and Sundays.

    Hi Rebecca, I also just started a few days ago. I find I have a lot more energy to move around a lot. I have taken up walking after work and exercising at night. I also have done weights. I think everyone is anxious to lose quickly, but I think it's healthier to think about the steps. take your pill, drink your water, eat healthy foods. I don't crave the sweets like I once did. I want to not concentrate on the scale, but I weigh myself every morning. Have lost 4lbs in 1week and 1 day. Good luck and just try to enjoy the experience.

    I also started 3 days ago, and was wondering the same questions, about the weight loss stuff, im not finding it hard to not eat either...I do drink my cup of coffee in the morning with fat free creamer, at lunch i eat yogurt and some grapes and dinner i have a 200 calorie pizza with 9 grams of fat, my dr told me to be on a 1000 calorie diet and 20 grams of fat, so i am sticking to that, i have also walked 1mile every day and do 10 sit ups and 50 crunches...i am hoping its working....

    Great job everyone!!!!
    Sometimes it is not always about the readings on the scale, it is about making better food choices, exercising, and just over all feeling better, I know the numbers on the scale keep us all motivated, it does for me anyway. I always have to remember it is all about trying to get myself in the habbit of being healthy. I have been at this since September and have lost 36 pounds, which compared to most is not much at all. But I feel better. I have gone from a size 24 to a size 18 " I can squeeze into a 16 but it is not comfortable" I think going down that many sizes, I should have lost more. So it is not always about the pounds. Best of luck to all, and thanks for the support you all have given to me, this site has played a very important part in my sucess.

    From what I've seen from other posters it REALLY varies for everyone, it doesn't seem as though there's a "typical" weight loss. I started taking Phen (30mg, blue/white capsule) on Saturday Dec 5th. On the 6th while I was at the gym I weighed myself (on the same scale I had used the day before) and I was THREE POUNDS lighter. :O It was actually the PERFECT kick-start for me, and my total weight lost in Dec was 15 lbs; so far in Jan I've lost 4 lbs.
