    Question

    Hey Everybody,

I hope everybody is doing wonderful. For those who have completed more than one month of Phen, how many pounds did you lose before losing a pant/dress size?

    Hi janaan-

I have heard for every 10 pounds you lose a pant size. Now I am not sure that is true because everyone loses in different places...arms, face, boobs etc. So, don't get discouraged if you don't lose pants sizes that quick. It will take time but you can do it, no matter how many pants sizes you lose.

Well I started at 244 lbs. I am down to 206 and am still wearing many of the same sizes. I find that some things just need to be bought in a bigger size! I don't understand but I just bought two new dresses, one size 14 and one size 22. I think you can't go by dress/pants size just go by how you feel and how you look!

It all depends on the material too and wether or not it is cheap material or more expensive...
    Don't get discouraged.
Some things I have at home I thought were too tight I am getting into now, but they have been washed over and over again, so there is shrinkage.
I'd say the range from 14& 22 is large...Do both dresses fit? Thats odd.

I have ben on phen for about 31/2 weeks. I was a 10 before and I have lost 20 pounds. I can fit into an 8 but not like I thought I would be able to. Every brand is different. I can wear anywhere from a 6 to a 10. I have had this conversation many times with my mother-in-law and sister. We just don't understand it. The more expensive the clothes, the more true to size they are. Hope that helped. Good luck in your journey

I lost 20 pounds before I dropped the first size.. 4 more pounds later I dropped another pant size. I don't think there's a set amount. I'm losing top weight much faster so my shirt sizes are falling fater than my pant sizes.

For me it is about 15 pounds I think... but that is going by my favorite jeans that I use the same brand and style - then again they are stretch jeans so I know that I can still wear them 13 pounds lighter even though I wore them 13 pounds ago. Now I just have the luxury of breathing! hehe - Best thing to do is get a tape measure - i know when I do weights and body toning I lose pounds slower but get smaller faster - so tape measure is a good way to see what you lose and where!

I have lost probably close to 10 and I am almost done with one month. What I have mostly noticed is that my "3 month pregnant" belly (I'm not and never have been pregnant) has DRASTICALLY gone down. I have also noticed that certain pants are too big for me. I tried on a pair that used to be somewhat tight and now they won't even stay on unless I use a belt on the tightest notch! It is a great feeling!!!

    Hey there ~
Everyone is different and all clothing manufacturers are different. I've been on Phen since April and have lost 25lbs and went from a 16 to a 10/12. I can get into an 8 but only with some brands, not all. And Old Navy runs small, so I actually have to buy 14 pants with them. Just keep in mind that, like everyone else has said, we all lose in different places. I tend to lose in my face first, belly last. I totally agree with atabrat about the tape measure. The scale tends to be a truly inaccurate and sometimes mean guage, so stick with the tape measure to get a true assessment of how much you've lost and where. Cardio & strength training helps to burn fat& inches quicker than just doing one alone, so you may not lose pounds, but you are losing inches.
