I don't think Phen increases your metabolism. My endro Dr. gave me phen and I have an underactive thyroid, therefore I take med. for it to be normal. If it did increase the metabolism than I would really be screwed up. He did tell me that it does burn calories which I don't know is true.

I wish it would help with weight loss. No it doesn't. I have a very under active thyroid. I need meds to have a normal thyroid like everyone else. I find too that it takes me longer to lose weight even though my thyroid is normal with meds.
