When I was 15, I asked my GP for an appetite suppressant and was prescribed Ionamin in minutes. Now it's taken me 10 months, three different doctors reducing me to tears and I had to resort to ordering it online.

Why the attitude change? It worked for me before, I kept the weight off for years and years as it caused me to re-learn portion control, but they didn't even listen to that. I know if I went back to my first GP she'd prescribe it in a heartbeat again but I've moved so I can't.

They didn't do any tests to see if there were any contradicting medical conditions, they just told me they don't prescribe weight loss drugs under any circumstances to anyone.

I feel very uncomfortable taking this without a doctor's supervision, but hey, I tried

Boy, do I feel your pain !! I'm in the same boat.... my doc says no way in H*ll she will prescribe it. Back when I was in college (many years ago !) I could get it from everyone from the GP to the GYN. I finally decided to resort to either a diet clinic or online. So far, online seems to be working, but I just started it last week.

I am in the same boat as both of you, above. I doubt any doctor will prescribe it anymore, but I am nervous about ordering it online, since you hear such stories aobut receiving faulty medication. Do you know which online source I can use and actually get Phentermine in return for my money?! Thanks so much for your help. I really appreciate it. I know I can lose weight with this help and with everyone's support.

i actually have a script which i filled, but it is only 15mg. i feel like that isn't quite strong enough, i'm not getting much in terms of results. hopefully my doctor will go up to 30mg, but if not i might order online.

I am also a newbie and looking for an online site. I was prescribed Phentermine a few years ago and it worked great as a jump start to my weight loss. I used it with diet and exercise like you are supposed to and had great results. Now I am having a hard time getting it. I just had a baby a few months ago and have some serious weight to lose. I've been scammed by a few websites with $20 membership fees and then denied prescriptions. Could anyone send me an email or message to let me know of a website that I will not get scammed on. The article does not mention Phentermine, but I am sure that there are fakes out there, it is just a risk someone has to take when you can't get any from your doctor.

~What confuses me is more doctors will do plastic surgery...lipo...gastric bypass etc so for enough money you can buy "Perfection" but for those of us who just need alittle help its almost impossible to find a dr to help.~

~I was on Phen for 3 months...worked like a charm. Right after the 3 months I moved out of state and had to find a new dr. It has been over a year now I have been searching and been off Phen with no luck finding a dr that will even hear me out.~

Phen isnt a cure...but it is a tool in helping people get jump started.
