Hi I am new to this site and I have been reading your post for about a week. I started phen a week ago and because of my period this week I am staying away from the scale. You ladies seem to have all the answers to the questions I wanted to ask. Let me tell you a little about me. I am 5'1" and have been fighting the battle of the bulge my whole life. Finally in July 2001 I decided I was not going to lose the battle ever again. My brother turned me on to weight training as well as cardio and now I do three times a week of each. It really helped. I went from 230lbs to 167lbs by Christmas 2001. Then I got stuck. I got depressed and decided what the heck if I can't get to my goal weight I might as well enjoy life. I have been back and forth till now. In Dec I hurt my knee (it was already bad from previous accident) and I basically gave up. I gained back 30 of the 60lbs I had lost. I went to my doctor and almost had a breakdown explaining to him if I don't lose the weight I may lose the leg. He put me on phetermine and here I am. I never took pills before and this pill is amazing. I have so much energy. Does this last? How do you ladies deal with your period cravings? I really didn't have any this time. I am eating 1100 - 1300 calories a day and exercising each morning before breakfast. Then I wait 1 hour to eat. I seem to be shrinking but I am scared that I it is just wishful thinking.
