Good job on your first two pounds. Yes, I think if your hunger is starting to come on stronger in the evening, you should take your pill later. I take mine around 10am.
I have to say... STAY AWAY FROM SODA AND CHIPS AND JUNK FOOD!
And I say that because, while on the phen you have to learn not to eat that stuff anymore and learn to eat healthy MOST of the time or you will gain your weight back when you get off phen. I'm not saying you can't EVER have a Pepsi or some pizza, but that should be only occasionally, like maybe once week.
Start stocking up on healthy foods, like fruits and vegetables, yogurt, whole grain pasta and breads. Cereals, protein bars, and other healthy food to replace the bad food. If you have to have pizza, eat a lean cuisine pizza or a Healthy Choice one.. those are good. I was a "bad food" junkie too. Now I eat healthy MOST of the time by substituting. I'll have a Carnation Instant breakfast in the a.m. (yummy chocolate) or cereal, or eggs and toast. For lunch I usually have a Chicken Fajita Lean Pocket, some carrot sticks w/Ranch dip, (only 60 cals for 2 tbsp) and some pretzel twists. For snacks I have a granola bar or a banana, or a apple w/ 2 tbsp peanut butter, for dinner I cook the same stuff I usually do for my family, but eat smaller portions.
No more heaping helpings of mac and cheese!! No more 5 slices of pizza, no more endless bowls of speghetti. It's all about control and thinking about what is going into your body now. Do you want your body to be healthy? Or fatty? Cause fatty foods make your body fatty!!
I am glad you have decided to start exercising too. That will help tremedously. It will help you burn calories and it will also motivate you to eat better. You don't want to ruin the workout you just did by eating a big fat cheeseburger, right?? Once you get into the habit, you won't want to stop. Give it at least 5 weeks of doing it at least 4 times a week and you will be set to exercise for life.
One more thing... WATER WATER WATER. Trash that Pepsi.. it is bad for you! I know it's great.. I love Pepsi too, but I only have it on special occasions now. Like only when I eat at a sit down restaurant, I'll have one glass. If you are addicted to the caffeine, you'll have to wean yourself off of it. Try going to diet. If you can't go to diet, wean yourself off one day at a time, depending on how much you drink. If it's 3 cans a day, cut down to 2 cans for 2 days, then 1 can for 2 days, then 1/2 can. Drink lots of water... 5 bottles a day. Add Crystal Light to it if you don't like plain water (like me) I add generic Great Value brand Sugar Free Fruit punch to mine. No calories.
You are off to a great start. Phen is not a cure all for weight control. You have to do the work too. Just remember you reap what you sow. If you are good to your body, and give it healthy food to eat, plenty of water to drink, and exercise you will see amazing results!! I am down from a size 20W to 14's. You can do it too.
