I FEEL THAT I AM LOSING THE WEIGHT TO FAST ..
I WAS 211 NOW IM 205 IN THREE DAYS I LOST ALOT..
MAYBE THATS JUST WATER WEIGHT BUT IM NOT EATING NOTHING JUST DRINKING WATER ...
~ I was at 190 HAD A BABY GIRL NOVEMBER,22 2002. THE WEIGHT I PUT ON WAS 67 POUNDS AFTER. I WAS AT 215. (I WAS SICK. I ATE ALOT OF SALT.)COUPLE DAYS AFTER I HAD THE BABY I TOOK PHEN I LOST 15 THEN I WAS AT 200 THEN I GOT LAZY ~ NOW I STARTED ADIPEX JAN 30,04 MY WEIGH WAS 211 .. I CAN'T GIVE UP I WILL BELIEVE IN MYSELF.
JAN 30,04- 211
FEB 1ST - 205
FEB 2ND - 203~HERE I COME.
FEB 4th - 202
FEB 10TH - 198 HAD FOOD THAT WAS BAD!!SLOWED ME UP.
FEB 17TH - 197
FEB 19TH - 196
FEB 21ST - 195 (16 DOWN 25 TO GO!)
FEB 29TH - 197 WOW!!!!
March 2ND - 194 ~ 180 HERE I COME.
March 5th - 195
March 6th - 192 Wow!! ~ 19 IN 36
DAYS..
March 9th - 191- 20 Down (Forever)
April 18TH -188 27 DOWN
May 16TH - 184 31 WOW.. GO GIRL

~Goal Weight-150/160 I WOULD BE HAPPY IF I WAS AT 170.

Hi there, I don't think u should worry about loosing to fast for the first 5-6 pounds it could be water. I always been told that anyway. Are u eatting some and or exercising too. That can encourge the weight to come off. Also if u have not been on every diet in the world, which would be good it seems like those people loose alot right away. Just be happy about it and stop worrying so much. Maybe if u loose a great amount in 2 weeks then I would be concerned. U got to eat as much as u can stand. Even when u feel like u dont want to just get a little apple or fruit cause u will need energy. I am sure there is someone out there that knows more then I do so u will probbly get more replays everyone is different to. I know exactly what you mean...I started on Monday January 26th and I got on the scale yesterday and it says that I lost 7 pounds. I started at 195. It' s kind of scary but I am happier.

Your body needs at least 1200 cals just to survive.Ya gotta eat something sweetie.YOu don't want to screw up your metabolism and gain the weight right back after you quit the phen do you?I had trouble eating the first week too but it wears off and you won't lose the weight as fast after that so enjoy!!I would say some of it was water too.I lost 5lbs the first week and I have never been able to lose weight that fast in my life!!try to eat several small healthy meals throughout the day even if you are not hungry.The phen raises your heart rate so you are buning more calories during the day than you usually would but your body become ammuned(sp?)to it in about 4-8 weeks depending on how your body handles it.so take advantage but eat smart!!

Hello...

I was scared too the first time I got on the scale because I lost a ton right away! Make sure you are eating! I have been exercising a lot and that is probably the most contributing factor, are you exercising at all?
A good point was made that you don't want to mess up your metabolism and gain the weight (and maybe more) back... take this time to learn portion control and get your body on a regular eating schedule. For example, every 2-3 hours I force myself to eat a piece of fruit or a granola bar... something to keep my energy and it also helps curb the nausua that I feel sometimes since taking the phen.

As long as you are getting your proper nutrients (you can calculate at fitday.com) and you are not starving yourself may I suggest that you sit back and enjoy the phentermine ride! I have lost quite a bit in the past month I've been on but not one day have I not eaten. Eat small meals throughout the day and drink tons of water and put a little exercise in there and you will enjoy success!

Don't worry about losing too fast! Since this medicine is only meant to be used for 3 months don't be concerned if you think you lose a lot the first week or even the first month...but start eating about 1200 calories a day...make sure you get some protein or you will risk your hair falling out. One of the side effects of losing weight too quickly or of many weight loss medication is massive hair shedding.

Remember get your PROTEIN
