    Hi everyone,
I just registerd, my doctor recommended phent to me b/c I need a jolt to my sloth of metabolism. The question I have is this: years ago I was diagnosed (maybe misdiagnose hopefully) with MVP, I am geting an echocardiogram done thisupcoming week so my doc can give me my ** if I get the greenlight from him. Do any of you have MVP? If so how's it going???

    Thnx,
    Linda

I suspect nobody here has MVP. I don't.

Bimmy, let us know how your echocardiogram turns out. I hope it's OK and you are cleared to start Phen !

I would imagine your doctor wants to be very careful. AND he should! How was your MVP classified?

Hey Bimmy....I just saw your posting this morning...I have minor mitrovalve regurgitation, but I'm still ok'd to take it. It truly depends on your body though. It is a good thing that you are getting all of that testing done before hand to make sure you will be fine. I wish I was able to help more. Sorry!

I was misdiagnosed about 10 years ago. I thought I had it for 9 of those years. Turns out I don't. All I have is an arrhythmia. I still take the same meds now as I did when I thought I had it, though. And yes, my doc said it's fine to take the phen. I see him monthly for weight and bp check.
