Question
Is it safe to drink alcohol while taking Phentermine? Has anyone had any negative experiences in doing so?

That is just my experience so please don't take my word, research and find out the real answer...Good Luck!

I'm not sure of any side effect when mixed with alcohol, but I do know I had to sign a paper at the Dr.'s office stating I would not drink any alcohol while on the phen. You might call your local pharmacy and ask, I am sure they would know.

Just for others that may be curious...I've done some research and it all suggests that you "limit" alcohol while on Phen b/cause it may increase dizziness.

I've been on phen since May and I drink probably at least twice a month. Beer, and tequila and have not had any bad side effects. Everyone is different though.

me & hubby went to family party the other night. I had taken my pills that day, and around 9pm I had 1 shot of tequila and a couple of beers. The only thing I noticed is that it seemed to hit me faster, I felt buzzed after the 1 shot and half a beer. Otherwise I felt okay.

I drank two glasses of wine when I first started taking Phen. I thought it would help me sleep...I was wrong. It made me feel way more drunk then I normally would have (I usually just get a good buzz). Since then I have not drank with it. So, it might not effect you as much after you have been on Phen for a little bit. I would definitely limit your intake and wait a while between each drink to see how it effects you. You don't want to end up in the bathroom puking all night. Also, alcohol is full of calories, so you might not want to drink anyway, to help you lose weight faster.
