    Hello everyone!

I started on phentermine Thursday and have lost 4lbs already!! I'm really pleased w/ the results so far! I've really tried to change my diet around but I have a lot of questions. I'm finding that I'm not really all that hungry. I don't get hungry 'till at least 2pm when I get up at 6am. And I guess I'm wondering if I should simply have a little snack instead of a true meal? Any suggestions? Thanks so much in advance.

wow smiley, looks like you're off to a good start!

Keep in mind that we all have a minimum caloric intake we can handle before our bodies start hording the cals and fat. Most people say 1200 calorie minimum, I think it depends on your weight and your goals

I would try to eat something in the morning to get your metabolism fired up, and keep the fire burning by eating small meals during the day.

You're doing awesome, keep up the good work!

I'm never hungry in the mornings now either ,but I have been eating something like a granola bar or cereal bar for breakfast just because I know it isn't good to NOT EAT AT ALL! I am like you though-sometimes I could go all morning without eating.I also seem to be hungrier at night if I don't eat in the morning. Good Luck!!

Thanks, girls for your help. I think I will try eating breakfast from now on. This morning I didn't anything until 1pm and felt absolutely sick when I did. I'm thinking that's a pretty good sign! I guess I'm just soo anxious to loose wt. & not used to not wanting to eat!! Thanks for keeping me in check.

Welcome!! I would suggest eating a BIG breakfast at 6am and then eating less as the day goes on. Good luck! Keep up the good work!!

    Question

So I tried the breakfast thing this morning after I worked out & I was RAVENOUS all day long!! I know that probably means my metabolism was up but that also scares me b/c I don't want my eating to get out of hand! Help!!

Finally someone who is about the same weight as I am I was on a low calorie diet for about a month because I want to lose 20 pounds. I was constantly hungry until I found the phen. Now I can go all day and I am not starving. I take the phen in the morning and then I have something in the morning. Something light. For lunch I have very little. I really stick to protein if I can - and water. Water seems to be the ticket! Then I work out (3 times a week - aerobic). After working out I have my main (big) meal of the day. I never want to snack and I am losing weight pretty consistenly. I have lost over 10 lbs since Feb 2nd and none of my clothes fit. I have a pile of "fat" clothes to give away. I never want to see a size 12 or 10 again. Hope that helps you out.

Cindoo- I wish you realized how lucky you really are! There are lots of us who can't wait to see a size 10 again .I was a size 10 about 3 years ago & that is pretty small for me.I just recently went from 18 to 16. I hope to be back to a 10 by this summer. You sound like you are doing great! How tall are you? I guess by the weight & sizes you must not be real tall. If I weighed 135 I would probably be about a size 5. I haven't seen a 5 since the 6th grade Good luck though in your weight loss. Sounds like you are on your way to a great weight!!!!!!!!

I am 5 ft 3 inches so 5lbs on me looks like 10-15. I know that I will never weight 115 like those adds say - I never did weigh that. I would just like to "stay" at one weight and not jump around. No matter how much someone has to lose it is hard work for all of us. I couldn't get the first pound off until I went on the phen. Even starving myself didn't do it and I was on every diet imaginable and I have heard every medical excuse there is out there. I am one of those people that just can't ever (ever!) eat a big portion or allot of food in a day, etc. It's tough when we live in a food world! These message boards offer allot of encouragement for everyone no matter where they are at in their weight loss plan. Good luck to you too!
