Tall people?

I love reading through all the success stories and looking at before/after pics. Its inspiring to see someone else transform into the person they want to be. When I look at the pics I always say 'oh I'm about her before size, and wow she looks great now'...then today I began looking at people height. WHERE ARE ALL THE TALL PEOPLE AT?! lol I am 6ft and so far I haven't found anyone over 5'7?

I'm 5'9 but I'm too lazy to put up pictures haha! I will one of these days.. I started out on Phen about 2 months ago at 181 and now I'm about 167. (May wasn't my best month, lol!)

May wasn't good for me either...my self-esteem, work ethic, ect was low and I even stopped Phen for like 2 weeks. Finally kicked my critic (husband) in the gut and picked myself back up. And I'm at it again =]

5'11" here. Average height for a women in the US, age 20-29, is 5'4.5"

Alright, alright, alright, I'm here! If you wanted a tall person you should've just came to me. I stand at 6'4"1/2. And I most likely weigh the most on this board. Well, at least used to. ;-)

I'm 5'9", but I just started. Don't have any pics yet, my camera is broken and I haven't gotten a new one yet. I was wondering where the tall people were as well.

You guys are so lucky! I started out through childhood being taller than everyone else and now I'm stuck at 5'4 so when I gain weight it goes straight to the hips! At least you all could be runway models! Lucky!

I am about a half a foot shorter or more than everyone that has posted here lol!!! Only 5 ' 1" here! And the chubbies show everywhere!!

chubby shows on tall people too!! lol Then bad thing is with tall women, no matter if they are thin or fat they are Amazon'like! Don't get me wrong I love being tall, and proudly wear my heels, but secretly envy short petite women.

I agree with you there, I love being tall too, it took me a long time to accept, but its just the way god made us! Yes people do look at us tall chicks and think amazonian woman, it gets worse when your going out and throw those heels on! You always end up being almost a head higher than everyone else hahaha. For me im not big on being the centre of attention, so sometimes I do wonder what its like to not have people look at you and say "Holy crap shes tall!"

I'm 5'11''! I absolutely hate being tall! I'm not confident at all, so going out with a bunch of girls who are 5'4'' (with heels) makes me feel like Amazon woman! I tend to stand with the boys until I get a few drinks in me

I started at 294 lbs. and as of this morning I'm down 35 lbs! I began phentermine on April 17. The last couple weeks in May and the first couple weeks in June weren't wonderful for me. I didn't workout and I definitely didn't eat as healthy as I should have! I'm finally back on track though!
I'm so happy to see some more tall people! I don't feel like the weirdo

I would love to be tall!! All my life i can only remember being everyones arm rest!! lol!! And heels dont get me started on those i dont think i could walk on those even without all of the extra weight! Maybe i will just put on my shape up shoes to keep me tall! lol! And honestly i have never looked at a taller woman and thought amazon! Dont be so harsh on yourselves! You all are doing great!! Keep up the good work!!

You are all prejudiced against us shorties!! haha Just kidding! I ALWAYS wanted to be taller, and I always thought I was 5' 5" until my teenager outgrew me and is taller than me at 5'5"!!! I was like wait- she's taller than me, and she's 5'5" so how tall am I? I'm 5'4"!!

SO not only did I never get to be tall, I'm shrinking!!

I'd gladly take a few inches off some of you girls if I could!!

5'11 here! And I LOVE being tall! A lot of times, people don't want to believe I'm the weight or size I am. At size 16, others shorter than me who wore 16s couldn't believe it. And when I tell people I still have 40 more pounds to lose, they look at me crazy, and don't realize that 40 pounds from now (150), I'll be a size 8 or 10.

Being tall can make you look thinner than you really are.

Im not tall but I know about the lack of suport at home thing. you have come to right place. everyone here is so great and thy understand what your going thru tht is why I love it. to be able to talk to ppl that are were you are and have been thr is a good feeling to know you are not alone. if you want to chat or need to vent or whatever im around
