i took yaz bc when i was younger.. i was 16 and for some reason my tom was all jacked up and sometimes i'd have one that lasted for 10-14 days then get like a 4 day break and it would start up again, so my mom took me to a gyno (i was still a virgin relax ya'll ). she put me on yaz that way i could take the pill to not have a tom then for 4 days out of the month take the placebo so my cycle would start, hoping this would regulate me and get my body in that habit.. well when i was a healthy fit 17 year old i got gall bladder issues, and now i'm hearing all this about yaz causing it.. hmmm, i always wondered y a normal healthy 17 year olds gall bladder would need removing.. anyone else had these issues?

I was on it for 15months.... Loved the fact that it helped me keep from being such a witch lol because I have serious mood swings, but now that I've been off it for a yr I get the weirdest pains in my legs.... and then a couple days later they turn into bruises... I thought the same thing maybe I am having blood clots... so I'm going to the dr to get them checked. But yea its weird tho cause almost everything does something bad to someone else.

ugh this is the 3rd and 4th time I am hearing bad things about Yaz! Two of my friends took it and they both said they started to get depressed, even having suicidal thoughts! And one of the girls is usually the happiest girl I know. The risks totally aren't worth it.

I know - I actually was on the Mirena IUD and I got extremely moody - ended up going on depression meds for a bit even...I was crying a lot, angry all the time - very unlike my normal, upbeat personality. Started gaining weight as soon as I got it in too. When I took it out - I dropped about 8 lbs no problem and was able to go off the meds right away. I have several girlfriends who love it, but my sister had problems and then my other good friend ended up with an extremely painful, huge ovarian cyst - a rare side effect supposedly.

iv ben taking my yaz with phen for a year !!
i recently had gallstone attack!!! i am in process of getting of yaz asap!

im thinking about the copper iud as i have a 2 year old. i was on mirena right after my pregnancy and coudnt loose much weight i felt like the hormones held on to my weight.
