2nd time on phen and not the same

Hello everyone, last year I was on phentermine and lost 30 pounds in 4 months then I got pregnant,now I go to a weight loss center to get the phen until my doctor puts me back on it. But I dont get the same effects as I did last year,no dry mouth,no energy,and still hungary.Could their be something different about these phentermine than what I was on before,but it looks the same and is 37.5 or could it be my body? I had my baby six weeks ago,and been taking the phen for a month. But thankfully my doctor will be putting me back on them in 2 weeks,and so I wont be going to the weight loss center to get them. Just wonder if any second timers had the same experince of it not being the same. Thanks for all who responds!!

Hi Wendy, there have been a few posts about this lately. I am having the same issue. I was on Phen for 2 months back in the fall and lost 20-25 lbs. Had all of the side effects, tons of energy, etc. I got it fom my primary dr. that time. This time, I got it from a weight loss clinic and it is very different. It is working (I'm losing about 10 lbs a month) but I don't feel a thing. I was actually more tired in the beginning. Sometimes I get dry mouth when I am exercising... it is completely different. Some people on here have suggested that there are different manufacturers of Phen so one manufacturer's version may be stronger or different than another's. Others have said your body's chemistry has changed and isn't responding the same... I don't know. I am anxious to see what your experience is when your other dr. prescribes it to you. If that script gives you the same results as before? I am going to the dr. at the weight loss clinic tomorrow and I am going to talk to him about it. I will let you know what he says.

I am so excited about getting it from my regular dr instead of the weight loss clinic.I am glad I am losing weight but I also like to be able to feel the effects as well,especially the energy! I don't know if its because I had a baby six weeks ago, or what,but my friend goes to the same place to get it and she dont have much effects from it either.I will keep you posted,I go to my doctor on the 17th.
