    Default *new here* Started Phen last month 2/4 (lost 29 lbs so far)

    Hi *new here*

    I took Phen a couple years ago and lost weight with it but I stopped dieting for some unknown reason. After having my baby girl in 08, I gained a lot of weight. So, I went to the weightloss doctor and weighed in at 283 pounds. YES!!!! I could have cried but I thank god for my height because that tends to camouflage it a bit. I would like to lose 118 total lbs and lose at least a minimum of 20 lbs per month, hopefully. So, my goal weight is 165 but I'll settle for 175 but nothing higher.

    Anyway, I went for my first official weigh in at the clinic this past Wednesday (march 3) and the scale read.............

    254 lbs

    I lost 29 pounds within that time frame.

    I don't know why I'm thinking that the first month will be the month where I would have loss the most. I just hope I continue to do as good or at least lose the monthly 20 lb minimum. Others have noticed that I have lost weight but I don't see no change nor feel any change, which is sometimes hard to deal with.

    By the way, I'm so glad to have stumbled across this forum. Excited!!! that I'm not the only one struggling with this.

    girl that great!!! for your first month! It'll take sum time for your mind to adjust that youve lost the weight then youll see/feel a change. Good luck!!!

    Jas107...Girl you're right its probably gonna take my mind sometime, but I just hope not too long as to where I start losing motivation because right now I'm like super motivated

    flycoloredazn69....I've been doing it a way that is highly not recommended and unhealthy. (barely eating) I only wanted to start it off that way and do it for like a month because I had to find a way to break the craving cycle of me just constantly eating just to eat. The few times I have ate I only fixed a small portion and I didn't be greedy and go back for seconds. I also can pull up to a fast food restaurant for my kids and not order me anything. I now feel and know that I can control what I eat & how much I eat. This month I'll be starting on the diet that member Taz posted on here, which I call it a Grapefruit diet. & aside from that, I exercise everyday. I started off doing 1 mile a day on the treadmill and now I'm doing 3 miles plus I get on the air climber & lately I've been doing Walk away the Pounds. I just need to find something to work the top portion of my body.

    So, no the start of my diet isn't the right way but I had to do it in a way that I personally felt would help me to control my eating habits and besides I've did it this way in the past, but I ended up pregnant so that cut that diet short.
