    Hi all,
    Just wondering if anyone has tried this diet from Jillian?...I am going to try it because frankly I'll do anything she says!

    Jillian Michaels recipe for losing 5 pounds in 7 days...

    * Get 60 ounces of distilled or pure water...
    * Add a tablespoon of sugar free cranberry juice...
    * Add 1 dandelion root tea bag and...
    * Add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.

    This recipe works because it helps flush out excess water weight you have carrying around in your body and...

    You could lose more than 5 pounds in 7 days depending on how much excess water weight you're carrying around and here's...

    2/17/10 (First WI): 156.6
    2/24/10: 155.6
    3/3/10: 156.2 TOM
    GW 125 lbs (hopefully before Summer)

    Its a natural diuretic cocktail from my understanding...dandelion root, cranberry juice, cucumbers, lemon, green tea all have diuretic properties. I would just have to say be careful about using diuretics to lose weight, even if it is water weight...even if it does occur in nature, especially if you are working out. Because you don't want to risk severe dehydration.

    I know water retention is a beast...but be careful.

    Phase I- 199.0 lbs- completed on (3/14/2010)

    Phase II- 179.0 lbs
    Phase III-164.0 lbs
    Phase IV (the home stretch)-150 lbs

    Carol,
    You sure don't look like you need a diuretic. At your currnet weight you probably don't have much water weight to lose. Plus the diuretic effect may make your medication leave your system faster. Just a thought!

    I use to fast A LOT before I got pregnant and was breastfeeding(I am not doing Phen at that moment) and I will say when I was between 107-150lbs fasting didn't do much for me I did feel a little better but I never really lost much water weight if any and I always seemed to gain it back in double.

    If you want to do a fast to clear your system and make you feel better I highly recommend a juice fast

    Well, all of that make sense! I guess I was just drawn by the easy weight loss since I tend to gain 4lbs when I it's TOM!
    But it makes sense that it'll come right back....I also didnt think about losing the Phen in my system, thanks for that! And I've always struggled being dehydraded....I mean, I'm just dont drink liquids enough but I'm finally getting into a grove of drinking water because of Phen, I dont want to get dehydrated again!
