    Thumbs up Weigh in!!

    So I just came back from my first weigh in with the doctors... So its four weeks later and I am down 28 pounds according to the doctors scale. Not bad!!! My scale here at home has a 1 lb difference w. my clothes on LOL. Because every morning I weigh with my clothes off my total is 30 because I'm 287lbs in my birthday suit. But I'm still happy with the doctors number ). I'm doing completely awesome I'd say. She said she expects a 9lb loss for next time. Its pretty cool she was the same weigh as me when she started losing weight 317 and now she is very tiny. Only difference is shes 5'5" and I'm 5'11".

    She also just told me to continue drinking my water and walking. To move my arms and shake my booty when I walk. GOOO MEEEEE. Well talk to you all soon. Love ya and STAY STRONG we can and will do this!!

    So here's to losing 9 by March 23rd...

    Go Q!! I think your doing pretty awesome as well! 28lbs in one month is absolutely AMAZING girl! Man if I lost 28lbs I'd be doing cartwheels and backflips!!! You are an inspiration to us all. Keep up the great work!

    Awwe... Thanks so much. Hard work but I did it. I'm so excited... I was in size 24 jeans. I fit in 20s now. Girl if I get into 16/18 by June this would just make my year. I cant remember that last time I was in the teens lol. Thanks and stay inspired... DON'T GIVE UP!!

    I basically eat whatever I feel like... Just watch my proportions. I kinda use weight watchers. But lately my new best friend has be myfitnesspal.com. Its awesome I just let it count my calories and I work out also. Like I purchased a treadmill and I have been walking for 60 mins going 4 1/2 miles.

    Thanks so much the support means so much to me... This site helps me to stay on track too because I know in a way my phen family is counting on me. Don't be jealous... My start weight was higher than alot of people so of course I think I lose a lot at first. It's a long hard journey ya know.. And were all goin to be here for one another!! I can't wait til this time next year to see where I'm at...

    03/17/10 - 210 (4th weigh in / Lost 1 lb) I was on vacation!!!! So happy I didn't gain any weight!! =) YAY!

    03/31/10 - 208.6 (5th weigh in / Lost 1.4 lb)

    04/14/10 - 204.6 (6th Weigh in / Lost 4 lbs)

    04/28/10 - 202 (7th Weigh in / Lost 2.6 lbs)

    Thanks everyone... Again it means so much to me!! ...I think the weight loss has me back to being a "woman" again if you know what I mean. Was wondering why my stomach was looking fatter... and the scale wouldn't move after getting to 286 it went to 288 I was like what... Well someone decided to give a visit. BOOOO!!! Sorry if TMI... After the weight is gone in like a year ill try for a baby anyways YAY!!!

    lol@ your TMI - I hate that dreaded TOM! I'm dealing with her visit this week, and I have vowed to stay away from a scale (and do my best to stay away from bad food) until the end of the week!


    BTW - 28lbs lost is a fabulous accomplishment! You and I are around the same weight/goal. Girl you made my day!

    Plan: -3lbs per week starting 2/1/10 to meet my 1st mini-goal:
    -60lbs by July 1, 2010 - for my birthday weekend in Vegas!

    @ qJackson and amber alicia__Yea me too you guys are kicking my butt though.... I think my problem is that I am not eating enough. I just dont know how to eat just anything in moderation (I guess thats why Im aso big) I was doing that mayo diet which is basicly no carbs but thats hard cause I love bread. I am so discouraged I dont know what the hell to eat....

    I know it ****s so much... I am really thinking about not going to work today. But I feel bad... I just got off the treadmill for an hour... So I'm thinking like if I'm in so much pain how could I go on the treadmill and not to work lol. But when I was on the treadmill I felt GREAT... NO PAIN. Now... GRRR. Havent seen this since October now o so conveniently here she is and I have my yearly on Monday (that I waited three months for) and now this...

    But thats girl... And yes our weight and goals are so close. Were in this together. Stay away from those sweet and the scale lol. I got on this morning and it said 285 so we'll see lol.

    Don't worry I'll help you out!!! You have to eat or your body will go into starvation mode. Go to myfitnesspal.com and make a profile... It'll tell you how many calories you should eat and burn according to how much you want to lose every week. You need to drink lots of water and exercise at least 30 mins. WALK thats all I have been doing. Eat things you like but proportion it... Bread is to my weakness but I have managed to stay away from it... I only eat double fiber by natures own. Your going to do it... and were not kickinh your butt were kicking this weights butt lol. Just stay strong love don't give up. If you have questions or need someone to talk to when you down just PM me... I'll always been here for all of you. I have to get ready for work now but... Anything you write me will go to my phone so I'll reply

    Awh thanks... I'm glad to be someones motivation!!! Makes me want to keep going myself. I'm 4 lbs... away from 280lbs... I was that in highschool when I lost 55 at weight watchers. I'm so excited and that also was my first mini goal!!! SOOO Excited

    Congrats on the excellent weight loss....28 lbs!!!! . You are doing it...Keep up the good work and it only gets better from here.

    LOL...I know how you feel about that difference in weight between your scale and the dr.'s office. I would just chalk that 1-2 lb diff. to clothes and just natural body weight flux from eating, breathing and etc.

    You'll be less than 280 by March 23rd, if you keep up these good practices. I'm putting my vote in for between 268-272 at your next weigh in.

    Again...Keep up the excellent work fellow Georgian.

    Maybe try Weight Watchers. That way you have the points to kind of keep you knowing where you are at for the day, and how much of something to eat. I know when I was on it my whole mindset changed. I would be like yeah the muffin looks really good but is it worth the 7 points, and I would think of how much more of the healthier lower points stuff I could eat for 7 points of my day. Just a suggestion
