    Sorry, its been a minute...I've been kind of busy with work. There are a few projects that I'm working on that have monopolized my time and when I get home or a moment's peace....I try to stay as far away from the computer as possible.

    Anyways, things are alright....it just seems like lately that this water weight has been killing me. I've been fluctuating between 204.5 and 207 for a couple of weeks. I can't blame it on TOM because that thing is so sporadic...and i'm ok with it. I wish I could get rid of it altogether without taking some birth control that would have me balloon up.

    I'm still continuing my plan...I am trying to adjust my calorie intake to see if that is why I haven't been losing weight. I increased from 1200-1300 to 1450-1600, since I exercise for 60-75 minutes, 5 days a week. This week, I haven't been as diligent...So, I will probably only get 4 days in.

    I'm still trying to make it to one-der-land...I think then I will get excited because this is usually the point in my diet journeys where my weight plateaus and I get frustrated, so that's why I usually don't get excited during the first 2-3 months.

    Right now, I'm putting myself on punishment/restriction until I get to one-der-land. No pedicure, no eyebrow threading, no cosmetic or accessory shopping until I take off those pounds. I extended my no clothes buying hiatus from the first day of Spring (March 20) until April 17th, since I didn't hit my one-der-land goal on 2/15.

    I know it sounds harsh...but it has to be done. I can't just reward good behavior...gotta punish bad behavior. On the bright side...it is good for my savings account because any extra monies left over at the end of the month goes there instead of towards my wardrobe.

    I dont remember the last time I wore a 10! I cant wait for it tho. That will prolly be the highlight of my year. LOL Im still in 18's boo! They are lose but not ready to move down in size. Ive been working super hard and it doesnt seem like Im losing pant sizes anymore... Maybe when I get closer to onederland? Right now Id say 90% of my weight is in my belly. My arms and legs are getting toned. My inner thighs are doing pretty good, but this belly is going away as fast. LOL

    Ok so Ive been wondering what a "normal" measurement for thighs and calves? I feel like mine are HUGE! Ive lost 4 inches on the thighs and 3 inches off my calves but I dont think theyre going to get much smaller...

    I think perception is my main issue with why Im not able to see many changes... I feel like I look wider. I know from the side view I look a lot smaller but from the front not so much!

    For me...the bulk of my weight is mostly chest and thighs. My midsection...yuck! how most people have a pouch or a meat apron...i have an overhang where the top part of my stomach hangs over. My arms are alright and i can tell i've lost inches in my thighs because jeans that I could barely get up (with no stretch) i'm able to pull up and button.

    Thighs...depend on what size clothes you wear, so I guess normal is relative. According to the gap's size chart for women's jeans...it looks like the diff. between the measurement of hips and thigh ranges from 14.5" at a size 0 to 18.25" at a size 18.

    Calves...most calf-height boots measure 13.5"-15" circumference at the top of the boot (i enjoy shoes and boots...clothes in general). My calf measures about 17"...maybe a little less, i dunno since i haven't been measured in over a month.

    We're the opposite in the sense...looking at me from the side, I see no changes (i can't wait to lose those love handles and back rolls...they are the bane of my existence)...looking from the front, i can see some changes (albeit small). People keep telling me to take pics to gauge my progress...I hated pics when I was smaller, so i've been so ambivalent about pics now. It might change the closer I get to my goal. I haven't been 155 lbs in about 7-8 years

    mscasanova: we must be shaped about the same. I have lost little around my thighs and my calves have not made any change. I am praying that I will lose some of my calve. I think the reason they are big is I played sports for so many years and did dance. The biggest part on my body is my getto butty!(when I was a kid I was always being made fun of because of my big butt) Thank goodness for all the big butt stars now days! I like to lose a lot more around my hips and thighs. My inches and my lbs lost are averaging the same. When I was 214 I was wearing 18's as well and they were loose. I got in the 16's at 205 and now at 196 the 16's are big. I can force myself into a 14 but do not care for the muffin top! I believe when I get to about 186 they will be fitting a lot better.

    Hi guys, I hope you don't mind if i join too.

    I started my phen on wed..so this was day three. I have been on phen before, back in03/08 and i lost 17 lbs but then I got pregnant. I want to lose about 50. This morning I was 191. I really only want to take phen for 1 month. I am hoping to lose 20, if I lose more that would be great

    I really enjoy talking to people on here. I loved all the support from when I was on here before.

    Welcome Erin! What type of "diet" are you following? Ive been doing low carb which in return lowers cals, but I just heard that low carb is only affective for about 4-6 months before your body is use to it... Has anyone else heard that?

    Ok as far as the measurements... My arms are 14 inches... I couldnt Imagine having thighs that size! I dont think my arms look too bad considering I can actually see the muscle in them now... My thighs are 22 inches and Im pretty sure I can get them to 19 maybe 18... I just know how my body shapes when it is "fit" and I have "softball legs" Stanley Im sure you know exactly what I mean. LOL

    My calves are 16 inches... LOL That explains why I can never find boots that fit over them other than from Torrid. I know the more I lose the smaller they are suppose to get but from being a runner for so long and playing any sport I had time for... The more I work out the harder, firmer and more defined they get... Without losing inches!

    Stanley it does sound like we are shaped similar... Except I dont have much of a booty. It has filled out a little but thats one of the main things Im working on is trying to build it up some. Im hoping the flatter my tummy gets the bigger my butt looks. HAHA Id love to have booty. Not too much but enough to fill out my pants!

    Maria I hope your having fun! I have a hard time staying away from the Churros and lemonade at concession stands So I hope your having better luck than I would!

    I know...well, i have "thunder thighs"...and my mother has always said that my legs are big from the ankles up, which is true. So, other than Torrid, occasionally 9 West, a few years ago JCrew had some extended calf boots and they went up to a 17" calf and I saved up to buy them in brown and black. Also, you can go to a cobbler and they can put a gusset in a boot that doesn't fit to give you an extra inch or 2. I have 2 pairs of calf height boots that are too big now...i think the calf was 18.5". I'm a collector of boots.

    For me...I know my thighs will always be larger (thank god for trouser cut pants and curvy jeans)...I danced in HS and was in marching band (we trained with the football team in the Fall and the track team in the spring in college).

    Hmm never thought about having them "stretched" Thats a good idea for if they dont get small enough... I hear ya! Thank god someone got smart and made different cut pants!!!

    Im not feeling soo bad right now but my youngest sister is. LOL I was telling my mom that hubby lost 9 inches total this week and my sister wanted her measurements done so I busted out with a pad of paper and my moms measure tape. Her waist is 28" at the smallest. and her hips are 36.5 at the fullest... I measured her thighs and they are the EXACT same as mine. I was like no way! so she measured mine and sure enough! Both of us at the chunkiest part are 22". Her calves are 14"... Im not feeling so bad bc her legs look great to me. BUT she's throwing a hissy fit about it. LOL

    Its true! I never thought my legs looked bad per say but it was discouraging seeing everything else shrink and not them. LOL

    Default need some advice please!!

    ok yall im coming on here right now feeling VERY discouraged and in major need of some advice...i started doing the diet that Taz posted called mayo clinic (basically a low carb diet) before that I was doing just low cal and watching my portions and I had lost about 11 lbs in about almost 2weeks then i started this diet and dropped another 10 lbs in 12 days so about the same weight loss i guess...my question is Im really really tired of limiting myself to low carb and all last week my weight loss is pretty much stalled and had some water weight due to TOM but then i lost it and then i lost 2lbs but then i was up one lb this morning and didnt due anythng different....im getting so frustrated because no matter what i still keep seeing that d@mn 183 on the scale...it goes down and then up down and then up...i could totally understand if i was cheating or not doing what im supposed to do but thats not the case here...sooo do you think i should just go back to the low calorie way of eating and see if that helps any?? I really really need to see this scale move....its getting soooo frustrating....my motivation is every morning when i get on the scale and see a loss, when that doesnt happen after a few days and i know im doing good i get sooo discouraged....BTW i just got off TOM on saturday from last monday....could that be part of the prob? any advice or tips yall have would be greatly appreciated!! thanks!!

    Alright girlie Ill try to help, but first Im totally jealous your going to see Blake Shelton, Id be even more jealous if it was Jason Aldean tho. Everytime I see your signature I want to tell u but I always forget... LOL

    I have been doing low carb which in return pretty much makes you low cal also. I had great success with it up until recently. I was told that bc I was soo low on the carbs for so long it was making me hold on to the ones I was eating. Same theory as being too low in Calories. When I had a cheat day every week I was losing like crazy, When I stopped I slowed down... I didnt think about that until recently tho, when I went back and read my food log and when I talked to my new Dr.

    So your body can be fighting it. Its just like anything you build up a tolerance if you dont switch it up. But 10lbs in 12 days is great I only lost like 7 or so. TOM can really be involved tho. I deal with it for 2 weeks usually. and its no fun.

    If you want to, try the apple cider vinegar thing. Ive heard its worked for alot of other people too. In fact one of the pills that was rec'd to me the main ingredient is apple cider vinegar. Im gonna try it again come saturday. I want to see how these new pills work on their own first so I can gauge how well the ACV this next time.

    But in the end every body is different so I say do what you know works for you. Thats the best advise Ive ever been given.

    Hi Everyone!

    I've missed you all like crazy! It seems like I have not been on here forever, even tho it's only been a couple of days lol!

    So my weight as of this morning was back up AGAIN 150.8! I was constipated all day yesterday so I do anticipate a decent drop tomorrow lol, but I didn't do very good over the weekend again. I ate cereal for breakfast Saturday, and I tried to stay away from the concession and I didn't do too bad but I did eat there. I ate a hot dog and a soft pretzel and shared and ice cream with my son. I wasn't going to eat a pretzel but when the man handed me my sons it was sooooo soft so i bought one for me too. The bad thing is that by the time i got to my seat it was hard it was only soft because it JUST came out of the oven So not worth the calories!

    After the show we went to smokey bones for dinner and I ate a 7oz steak with a salad and baked potato. I also had a soft pretzel stick there as well.

    Sunday morning we went to a place called Dingbats for there Sunday brunch and I can't even name all the stuff I ate there....All small portions but i wanted to try so much stuff. i was sick when I left. NOTE TO SELF...STAY FAR AWAY FROM BUFFET'S!!! I have no self control there. On a good note, I didn't want much else to eat yesterday after that lol. i did eat some other stuff too later in the day (pie).

    I don't know what has come over me! It's like I have lost all self control and I can't seem to get it back! I work out like a mad woman so at least I lose it all again.

    For those who are unaware. V-day weekend I gained 3.1 pounds from Saturday to Monday. By this Saturday I had lost 2 of those 3.1 leaving me up 1.1 for the week. As of today, back up the 2 I lost again! The good news is that although I am up in weight I am still down in inches, which means I have lost fat and gained muscle overall I suppose. I also think that last weekend had some to do with Tom. This weekend like I said I was constipated so we will see what the scale says in the morning. I ate good today though and was finally able to go so (fingers crossed)!

    As for the calf high boot conversation....I finally got my first pair on Halloween! My friends hubby calls them my CFM boots..Come F*** Me Boots! I love them! My calves are 14 inches now and I have no idea what they were before but I could not find a pair of boots to fit me to save my life until recently and still most calf high boots still don't fit me.

    As for my thighs, they still measure at 21.5 inches at the thickest part.

    I am wondering how you all measure. Do you pull the tape measure as tight as you can, or jsut snug, or loose? If I pull it as tight as I can on my thighs it's 20 inches exactly, but I measure snug (a little loose).

    From 2 inches above my belly button down to my lower thigh is my major trouble areas. I can see bones in my chest now without ****ing in or anything but I can't seem to get rid of this mid-section fat! I hate it!

    Anyway I have decided to make a mini goal for myself. I have not done that for a while and I think it might help me get back on track and gain better self control. We are having a St. Patricks Day Party (love the Irish in me, on the 13th so I want to be down to 144 pounds by then or I am not drinking ANYTHING!!! (but water). That means I need to lose 6.8 pounds in 3 weeks! That's like 2 pounds a week. The first 3.1 don't count though cause my lowest weigh in day weight is 147.7, so technically those first 3.1 should go as fast as they came if I'm a good girl, which leaves 3.7 (1.2/week)! I think that is perfectly acceptable.

    I hope you all give me hell for being so bad and kick me the butt to keep on track! I'm promising you all to do good and not go above 1500 calories on ANY given day for ANY reason. My sons birthday is March 20th so even that should not cause issues lol.

    Oh yeah, also want to say welcome to all the new people posting with us! More is always better and this site is great! Despite my recent failures, i have made a lot of progress and if has really helped me to have such wonderful supportive people on this site to come to for advice and just to vent when I need to. You're going to love it here! WELCOME!

    Tosh, I am the worst person to ask for advice right now as you can see lol, so I'll wait until I am doing better to offer any! I understand your fustration though. I only wish I could say it was of no fault of my own. I guess I'm lucky to know I am the cause of my issues. At least I know what needs to be done to fix it. I will say this though, I have been where you are and sometimes it just takes the body a jolt to get it moving again. Like Shawntel said, maybe a cheat day will bump things a little. As for the 183 number, that number was my nightmare! I was at 183 for like 5 months seriously! I was off Phen and the scale would not budge! I went back on at 187 after being off for 9 months and thats how I lost the last 40 pounds. It might take a while, but you will get there. How long have you been on Phen? If it's been a few months, try taking a short break from it. ...lol, I guess I can't help myself from giving advice lol.

    Ok, Maria! It's time to FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS on your goal!!! You'v egot to remember how hard you worked to get ot this point!!! Think of how unhappy you are when you are carrying around all that extra weight, as you were before! Look at how great you look now!

    Ask yourself, "Do I wanna eat what I want, or wear what I want???" I saw that posted by another member here (wish I could remember who 'cuz I love it and would like to give credit...), and thought it was bang-on for me! It is very motivating! Maybe it will help you, too!

    I'm just concerned that you are going to do what I usually do- make a lot of progress, which is hard won, and then backslide and put it all back on... Please, think of what I have said and DON'T DO IT!!! I care!

    thank you both so much for all of the advice, i really really appreciate it, you just dont know. I switched my diet from all low carb and went back to low cal and watching my carbs...i changed up my exercise and of course drank all my water...hopefully (fingers crossedz) the scale will move tomorrow. Just not sure what the heck is goin on. Marie ive been on phen since Jlan 13th i started at 204.4 and now im STUCK at 183! ugh oh well gotta keep on truckin i suppose!
    Marie you are so dedicated and not to mention educated on your diet and workout that i have no doubt in my mind that you will be down to 144 by st. pattys day....you can do this girl, look how far youve come so far. I know in my experiences when i am out of my routine for a little bit i tend to vary on my eating, as soon as you settle back in you will be fine.
    Shawntel 45lbs is AWESOME girl!! i can not wait to be there, i was really really hopin to be in the 160's by the time Blake Shelton rolls around but now since 183 keeps poppin up on my scale every freakin day i dont think ill be there...ugh!!! hopefully 170's at least. On a more positive note im pretty much in a 12 now...i havent bought any jeans yet...just tried a bunch on at the mall the other day, but my 14s are pretty much fallin off of me, but i really dont want to buy any because i dont want to be in them long know what i mean? Well im off to bed i guess, i need to go hop on my gazelle but my muscles are really really sore tonight so i may take a break, i did alot of housework and movin around earlier and havent eat since supper at 530 so im really really hopin for a good day tomorrow. i hope everybody had a great day tomorrow...ill check in and see how everyone is doin....have a great night!

    Im really hoping for a loss this week. Btwn how hard Ive been working and the new pills that seem to work so well again. Im hoping this gives me the kick I need bc Im tired of floating btwn 213 and 215! And I still need to lose 39lbs by the end of April to meet that goal! So lets keep each other on track ladies. Ive really been craving sweets for the past 3 days! I had some sugar free jelly beans tonight and it didnt get rid of the craving.

    Tosh- You can do this and get past this hump. It sounds like your doing everything you can do. It will happen for you...

    I totally know what you mean about the jeans. I feel like if Im buying them I settling for that size. LOL

    Well ladies I was right about having a substantial drop this morning lol. My weight was down 2.2 this morning so now I weigh in at 148.6! That also means I'm down 0.2 for this week so some of last weeks gain is coming off too.

    Thank you all for your support. I really feel pumped today to lose this weight and I really feel like I can do it, thanks to all your support!

    Shawntel, I think craving sweets/carbs specifically has been my problem. I have literally lived on carbs most of my life and recently I have been trying to eat low carb. I think it put my body into shock or something...and not in a good way! I'm going to go back to what I know works for me and that is eat everything, but in small portions! I think I'll be happier that way. I think I was so freaked that i would gain after going off Phen that I tried crazy things that don't work for me and then over ate because I was never satisfied.

    It sounds like we all have a mini goal in mind. Do we all want to set a St. patty's goal and work together towards it? If so, as of today I need to lose another 4.6 pounds! Since my party is on the 13th, I'd like to lose it all by then.

    Thanks again for all your support ladies! I really love your quote too Donna! Anytime I'm reaching for bad stuff I try to remind myself "it will never taste as good as skinny feels" My only problem with that is that I have instant gratification issues. I get the bad stuff now but have to wait for the weight loss. It's too bad the body didn't work like a computer...(oh you skipped that candy bar...drop 0.2 pounds Whoo Hoo) LMAO! if it was immediate and we could feel it, it would be sooooo much easier lol.

    Well off to school..which reminds me, I think stress has also been playing a role in my issues too lol.

    I know I can do this, and I know all of you can too! I'm so glad we have each other!

    Maria- Lordy instant gratification... Thats exactly it. I swear the last few days have been horrible with the craving I would actually wake up wanting something. So this morning I put sugar free sweet cream Creamer in my coffee instead of having it black and guess what! The craving is gone! I felt like the people in the klondike bar commercials "what would you do oo, for a klondike bar" LOL

    Maybe its allowing my body to have more carbs to quick is messing me up? Im staying strong tho! I will get past this!

    Your computer idea is great... Just put a check mark next to the things we didnt eat and it tallies up how many pounds we lost and it just miraculously disappear? That would be AWESOME! LOL

    But I agree. Stick with what has worked for you. You've come a long way so far, so you must be doing it right.

    BTW YAY for being down that much! You ARE doing something right. Id love to 175 by St patty's day. Since Im not sure Ill meet that for my End of April goal. Id really like to wear a bikini or a 2 piece period and look good in it for hubbys bday which is April 27. We always spend the weekend at the beach. It really kicks off our beach going.

    We can do this!! Thats what I keep saying...

    So, you're as "tax baby" huh? No way to forget your b-day with that date, huh? I read your post about your hubby's b-day kicking off your beach-going for the year- you lucky bunny, you! You have the drive and determination that I KNOW will make you successful in meeting that goal for the 2 piece! Think how awesome that's gonna be- I bet lots of men will be lookin' your way on the beach! Hope hubby's not the jealous type-

    BTW-I'd LOVE to live where it's so nice so much of the year! Love, love, love to! Unfortunately, both the husband and I have children with our "exes" which means we can't move until the kids are 18!

    Yes, stress CAN and DOES play such a huge role in how our bodies behave in so many ways! I have been thinking about how your life and schedule have both changed so much recently. That is a true challenge- to be able to hold onto our losses and our healthy new habits when they are challenged by alterations to our routines. Just when we hit on what works, along comes life, huh?

    Like you, I am glad we all have each other! It HONESTLY does help. It sounds crazy, but just talking to you guys about the issues you have makes me stronger to fight my own battles. I guess it's like, 'Who wants to be a hypocrite and give advice to others when I can't even keep my own self in order???' So, that keeps me on the straight and narrow, I think...

    And, I agree with what you said Maria- "It will never taste as good as skinny FEELS!" WAAAHHOOOOOOOOO!!!!! That is right on the mark! Thanks for sharing that!

    Good Afternoon ladies!!!!
    well just finally got a chance to hop on here...i had a really rough night last night..me and hubby had some issues last night...we were fighting and went to bed late then at 330 my 7 year old woke me up throwing up...so now i am working from home today and i need toothpicks to keep my eyes open! i swear i think phen rage is going to be the death of my marriage...hubby told me last night he wanted the girl he married back and if she didnt come back he was going to leave this crazy girl! soooo i gotta get a handle on it and quit acting like an effing psycho...i feel sooo bad today and embarrassed for gettign soo mad over stupid sh!t that doesnt matter and acting like an idiot and letting bullsh!t just spout out of my mouth...i tend to let my mouth overload my ***** at times..lol. but its better today im just tired...so enough about that...after a much needed pep talk and advice by you girls yesterday (thank you very much) i hopped on the scale this morning and it said............. 181 whoot whoot!!! FINALLY NO MORE 183!!
    now on to 170's.......................i was sooo happy to see that damn 183 gone. i switched back to low cal and watching carbs and i felt better didnt have stupid cravings and lost weight...forget the no carb thing for me...Just like you said marie im gonna stick to what works!!

    so im not sure if i ever told yall about myself...my name is Tosha...im 33years young...i have 4 girls ages 15,12,7,5 and ive been married to my hubby since sept. he has no kids of his own but is really great to mine. i live in houston actually a little south of houston by galveston...love it here...i moved here 3 years ago after a HORRIBLE divorce from my husband of 13 years...fought in a nasty custody battle for 2 years for my girlies and in 10-30-09 they were awarded to me full time so life is good...now the only left to do is lose this darn weight and not kill anybody during the phen rages and its all good! well i hope everyone is having an awesome day

    Im telling you, You girls are totally awesome!

    Donna- Yes I am a tax baby... My dad said he shouldve known then I was gonna be an expensive child. LMAO and to be quite honest I am still expensive. Thank god hubby knew what he was getting into. I guess thats bc we were friends first and had lots of mutual friends before we ever dated. You know what kinda off subject... Im not sure if hubby wouldve ever had the "nerve" to ask me out in school unless we had the same friends... I mean we had classes together but still. He thought I was "outta his league" bc the boyfriends I had before him. Little did he know I had a crush on him... He was and still is completely opposite from any other guy I was ever interested in. I had broken up with my bf of a year about a month before prom my senior year and hubby had over heard me saying to one of my gf's that Id rather go with a friend to prom than some guy who I didnt really know. That night he called me and asked if I wanted to go with him. LOL Been inseparable ever since.

    But no he's not the jealous type at all! Thank god! He takes it as a compliment when other guys stare or compliment me. He knows who Im going home to! He always said if I was gonna leave him I wouldve done it already with all the stupid sh!t hes done over the years. Honestly... hes right... if I was going to I wouldve. Were in it for the long haul now.

    and thanks for the confidence it really helps knowing I have people who want me to succeed. Esp with all the people who want to see me fail in my life!

    Maria- I agree with Donna. Your life went hectic so quick. Your still trying to find a balance. You will get there I know you will!!! And stress is a beezy and reeks havoc with our bodies!

    Tosh- Weve all been there will the rage... At least I know I have. I just bit my moms head off for absolutely no reason last week. She doesnt know Im on phen but she chalked it up to a bad weigh in. LOL and Ive gotten super snappy with hubby over stupid stuff too. Ive learned to take a breath and think. Which is sometimes hard to do. He says its like PMS times 10 and hes not use to it bc Ive never been a beezy with TOM.

    Im soo glad your down! I agree stick with what you know works! Thats my new slogan I swear! Best advice EVER! Congrats with finally getting thru all that stuff and moving forward and losing weight.

    Losing weight and actually sticking to it has been the best thing Ive done in a long time. Not to mention the improvement in the bedroom. Sorry if thats TMI but I feel a lot more confident about my body and I knew thats what was wrong with me before, I just didnt realize it was that bad.

    I LOVE being called a loser now!

    Congratulations on BUSTIN' thru that 183! I know first hand how aggravating a plateau can be! So proud of you for stickin' it out! YAY!!!

    Thanks for the compliment! I do try to be positive and upbeat. It has helped me stay focused on my goal, as weird as that sounds. I decided that THIS time I tried to lose weight, I was gonna stay positive and focused and not let myself get down and lose hope (instead of weight!). I am glad that I can help you, or at least make you smile, in the process!

    As for your Phen rage- you are SO not alone, honey! Last Tuesday- one week ago today- I nearly got divorced- no lie- cuz of it. Pretty much the same story as you had with your husband. I read it and my chin hit my chest. I could NOT believe nearly the exact same thing happened to us! Like you, I was unaware that I had been experiencing the rage. I do recall that about 5-6 weeks ago, my hubby said, "You've been a little more high-strung lately..." which I ignored, thinking he was just being "a man" and therefore could not help the fact that he was wrong about me. After all, how dare he say that to me, right? He was totally off base, right? Wrong!

    So, after my melt down, that nearly took my marriage down, it's needless to say that I have been monitoring my PR very closely, and it has only reared it's UGLY head once or twice, in much smaller amounts. Anyway, all is better- WHEW! Thank goodness...

    Shawntel- sounds like you and your hubby are a great match! Good thing he's not the jealous type, girl! Like your man, mine seems to like it when other males appreciate me, too. They just gotta look without touching! LOL!!

    Hey Ladies! It's been a while since I really check in on here. I'm STILL stuck at 249. I think that I'm also going to go back to what I was doing before.....The Body for Life plan. It's a workout and eating plan that was VERY easy for me to stick with last year until I got sick and had to take a break. I won't be able to workout like I want to until I get this cyst resolved on my leg so I'm just going to stick to the eating. It's basically like a diabetes diet.....a good balance of lean protein and good carbs and a good fat at every meal and healthy snacks in between. I felt better doing that so I think it works better with my body chemistry. If anyone has any advice I'll gladly take it. I want to get as close to 200 as I can by summer. Fortunately up here it still snows into May so I have a little bit of extra time before swimsuit season. LOL

    Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you all! Today/tomorrow is my hubby and my 7 year anniversary of being together. We have only been married since Halloween 2008, but today/tomorrow is important too.

    The reason we say today/tomorrow...Feb 23rd/24th, is because he came over to my house on the 23rd as a friend, hanging out, we were up all night talking and TMI...went to bed together at 5AM on the 24th and he never left after that lol. We had known each other and been friends for a long time but that's when we actually made it official lol. He says our anniversary is the 23rd, and I say the 24th lol

    So ladies drum roll please....... IM IN A 16!!!!!!!!!!! AND they fit great! Low rise bootcut. My favorite style! I didnt buy them tho. LOL I just HAD to try them on while I was looking for a dress for tomorrow. I did find a cute dress had to buy and XL tho bc the Med was too sexy I guess for a funeral. WAY too much boobage! honestly I never thought that would be a problem but now it is. LOL I like that problem tho... Well for now anyway.

    Ok so I posted this in another thread but I dont think you guys post in there. AND I thought you might get a kick out of it soo Heres part of my shopping trip recap:

    I was trying to find a cheap ring to wear while out today... I feel so naked without my wedding set and I couldnt find anything that didnt look cheap. Im to the point where I will buy a $20 fake ring just to wear when we go out.

    Ive noticed tho guys are dogs! My sister and I were at Ross and the SECURITY guard was following me thru the store. I even went in the bra section just to make sure thats what was happening.

    I got so irritated and uncomfortable I finally turned around and said "Is there a reason your following me??" He said some mumbo jumbo about how he was trying to get the nerve to ask for my number. I told him sorry Im happily married... You know what he said... "Your either lying to me, or you not that happily married bc your not wearing a ring" I was so done by that point I told him "Look Ive recently lost 45lbs, would you have even looked at me when I weighed close to 260lbs?" Then he just stared at me and I said "Yeah EXACTLY what I thought, you dont deserve the time of day from me, Now if youll excuse me I have some shopping for a funeral to do"...

    My sister was so shocked that I said something Shes been telling everyone and even tweeted it. LMAO My hubby and Dad were so proud. I went and told the manager too and she acted all shocked and said she would take care of it.

    ok so I keep reading everything that is posted here and I'm so inspired.. Thanks to Maria I have kept up with my exercising and eating properly but for some reason I'm stuck. I've finally managed to get the water intake under control and I'm getting the amount needed per day but I'm still not losing. I lose 1 day then the next it's back. I'm not sure what I need to do next. I'm hoping that it's because it's the week before TOM, but i'm not sure. It's soo frustrating to me. For example I thought I did horrible this past weekend but I actually lost weight. And yesterday I ate really well and I exercised then this morning my weight was right back up. I really need help with this I know I'm probably beating myself up a little to much but I'm not sure what to do next.
    I was thinking of doing one of those detox things but I haven't decided which one might be better. If anyone know of one that is good, please let me know.

    Shawntel- I have been doing the ACV drink. Not sure if this is what it's suppose to do but the days I forget to drink it I can tell a diff in my energy level. Thanks for suggesting it. Also I realize you go to a dr. but do u have any suggestions for any Fat burners I could take that I could buy anywhere?

    I am ROFL at your shopping story- I can just picture it all unfolding in my mind, with the guy's mouth hanging open when you tell him off- LOL! At first, I thought you were gonna say that he accused you of shoplifting, since he was a security guard. Then when he hit on you and you gave him "what for" it was just too much!

    At least you did have some success on your trip yesterday- congrats on the 16s!!!!!!!! I know it's "just" a number, but to me, it is so inspirational to be able to slip on something that would have been tight at an earlier time and have it fit, or- better yet- be loose and baggy!

    Laura- sticking with your healthy eating for now is DEFINITLEY the right thing to do. That way, when it does come time that you can start working out, you will not have that barrier to conquer. All you'll have to change/focus on is adding in exercise! One step at a time...

    Maria- HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY anniversary! Yes, this is an important date. My mom and stepdad always celebrated their "we met" date, their "she moved to another state to be with me" date, and of course their marriage anniversary. My hubby and I celebrate Aug. 8th- our "met date" and July 23rd- our marriage anniversary (and my b-day!). It's important!

    Im so glad I gave you a laugh this morning!

    I swear IDK the last time I fit in a 16 let alone with out a giganto muffin top or having to lay on the bed and work myself into them! LOL

    I was just complaining yesterday that I wasnt losing sizes and blah blah blah to hubby and mom and that I couldnt believe MIL lost 9 lbs and went from a 16 to a 12... and I had lost 20 from when I fit in an 18 and still wasnt in a 16... LOL

    Then I was kind of hoping that they would fit but was ready for them not to and hoping it would give me EVEN more motivation if they didnt. Now that I think about it I shouldve tried on the 14's I wouldve seen how much further I need to go. Dang it. LOL Hopefully the next time I HAVE to buy pants they will be a 14.

    Shela- Im glad your joining us!

    Im not sure of an over the counter fat burner per say... But from what I hear and read Chromium is helpful in metabolism. I swear my little pill the Dr gave me is prolly just straight chromium with some B vitamins. Maybe look into that. Ill ask when I go on Saturday.

    Im all for staying "natural" with the pills. If there is a natural supplement I can take vs one with a lot of crap that IDK what it is Im all for it. Of course Im taking phen and thats not "natural" But you know what I mean. Like instead of taking caffeine Id rather take the B12 or B complex to help w energy. Guarana is helpful too. Its an herbal energy booster. A 250mg pill is 36% caffeine. Just dont take too much LOL bad experience... I swear I had caffeine poisoning.

    I took 2 in the morning and by 9pm my brother and I were going out I forgot that I took them and had a redbull. I was bouncing off the walls and couldnt sleep or sit still.

    Im glad the ACV is giving you energy. It did the same thing to me. But it also made my body break out. LOL I can deal with that as long as all the icky stuff is going away. LOL

    Im using "Super Cleanse" from GNC. Its 15 for the small bottle but I bought the big one bc thats all they had and Im pretty sure it was 22. It says it has 13 cleansing herbs and probiotic support. It does what it says. LOL and its not too harsh either. You take 1 in the am and 1 in the pm to start and then go up one pill every other day to the max of 6 pills daily, or until your *going* 2-3 times a day. Do it for 30 days. I only need 2 in the am 2 in the pm. They say there is a whole body detox program that goes with it but my GNC doesnt ever have what Im looking for. I def rec' it its by Natures Secret.

    It could def be TOM messing with you. Im dead serious when I say I deal with it for at least 2 weeks a month... The week before, the 4 days its here and 3 days after... The joys of being a woman!

    SOOO Im so aggravated today. Yesterday I felt like I was getting a stye this morning my whole eyelid is swollen. It doesnt hurt except when I blink and even then its not every time. Of course today it happens. We have a funeral for my moms cousin to go to and a bunch of the family I havent seen since I was like 10 will be there! I was excited bc some of them came to our wedding when I was a big ole fatty... Sorry if that offends anyone, but I was. I was all excited bc I wasnt going to be the fatty they saw last time or seen in pictures then this dang eye thingy happens! If its not one thing its another I swear... Ok thats my rant

    On a brighter note... My sister and I went to dinner last night. IDK when the last time just her and I have done that. I did pretty good I think... We went for sushi. Well except the appetizer... We ordered calamari tempura she had NEVER had calamari! It was good and the batter was very light and yummy. We didnt eat even half of it tho. My dinner was teriyaki chicken breast, with salad and a bowl of rice. I didnt eat the rice she did. She ordered spicy shrimp roll and a crab roll I think we shared our plates. Overall it was a good day.

    Holy bajezus guys. I just got home! Who has a 7 hour funeral?? O yeah my family. LOL It was a beautiful service. Then we went to Julies favorite Restaurant/bar/ hotel. Its the Aztec hotel in Montebello I think or was it Monticeto? IDK but it was a lot of fun. They made it into a party to celebrate her life. Not many tears. Good food, lots of laughs, awesome people. We watched a video My Great Uncle John, her dad made... Hes the guy who always has the video camera in his face. LOL Even today he did! She had such a beautiful singing voice. I never knew that!

    Overall it was so nice! I really enjoyed it... It was nice getting to see everyone whos life she touched in someway or another. I also FINALLY met my moms crazy cousin! Who she loves to death!!!

    I'm very sorry for your loss Shawntel...Funerals are always a bummer.

    I Did LOVE the Shopping tory though. That totally made my day! ROFL. Me and some of the other nurses were playing around at work today and looking in each other's ears. I got told that I had the prettiest ear drums! ROFL It was definately an interesting compliment.

    I'm having my last procedure "hopefully" on Friday. As soon as I heal from that my A** is back in the gym!

    Thanks Erin and Laura. It really does mean a lot! Were actually all doing realy good.

    O man I was telling gma that story and she was giggling sooo hard! LOL She actually stopped me in the middle of it and said she had to pee... I LOVE when I get my gma laughing she has the most contagious laugh EVER!!!

    OH so my great aunt who was at my wedding recognized my hubby and asked my gma "wheres candy's [my mom] heavy set girl?" My gma pointed at me and said "shes right there shes lost 50lbs" LOL I went over and squatted btwn them to talk to gma for a min and she told me the story. Then gma said "shes so beautiful now" I giggled and they were both saying how great I looked and stuff I said thanks. Then teased my gma about how she jinxed me about this dang stye and told them I woke up looking like the hunch back of notre dam... and she says "well you can barley tell so you did a good job of hiding it, but what happened to your face?" LOL there were sooo many flowers and bc I was helping carry them I got a small rash on my face. Nothing bad just irritated and red on my jaw line and cheeks... But I guess mine and gmas relationship really shocked some of them. They kept telling gma how well her and I get along and complimenting us... LMAO I asked her who this kick a $$ lady with a walker was and she couldnt see her so she was teasing me saying "shawnie how much have you had to drink? Your seeing ladies in walkers that dont exist" LMAO I love gma!

    Seriously you guys this little old lady was AWESOME! Nobody really knew her tho... She had a walker and a Victoria Secret bag hanging on it... She Flung open the door and threw her walker in past the doorway, and everyone who heard it looked back at her and she did 2 thumbs up and shook her lil booty with a big ole grin. It was so cute! I finally found out she was taking a class with julie and her bf so she was a friend. Then my mom her cousin and my sisters were talking about how cool she was and my sis mentioned her bag... and I throw out there... "wonder what she bought... Its about the same size bag you get when you buy a bra... wonder if she got that miraculous cleavage one.." I had them all laughing so hard! Then my moms cousin says that she was wondering the same thing but didnt wanna be the one to say it... LOL All in all it was good. From what I hear just the way Julie would want it.
