I am on 15 mg and I started Feb 19, 2010 and to date I have lost only 4 lbs. I don't know what I am not doing. I was eating healthy before starting on the pill..veggies, fruit, brown rice, kidney beans and protein and still eating the same way and not losing. I drink about 2 gallons of water a day and limit myself to 1 diet pop which I drink 1/2 early and the other 1/2 later. Maybe I need to be on a higher dose...any suggestions or feedback..??????

Hi Every1. Just a quick pop in.
Oh well I was goin to go the Fat Clinic today to get me next lot of Phen but didnt get me money last night. Getin it 2nite, so off there Thursday now. The place is only open Tuesdays and Thursdays. Iv had nearly 3weeks off now and not lost nothin but dont mind so much as long as I didnt put on. Roll on Thursday. I cant wait to get back on them.
Hope every1 is doin ok and still goin strong.
I am on the 15 MG also since 02/15. I lost 10lbs in 2 weeks. This week I only lost 2 lbs. I think I had more weight to lose so it went fast at first. This third week was slow and I still followed my diet plan with exercise.
I have come to the realization that this will be slower than I would like. However, if we keep a positive attitude we can all do this. For myself, I have quit making excuses and know its about me and the changes I can make myself. I have owned them and I am ready to confront them.
Media plays so much of a role making us feel like we need to be thin. I try to remember how many of those pictures are airburshed!! If anyone followed the Hills~ Heidi, look at her now with all the plastic surgery. Yes its an instant fix but for those of us without a tv show this will be slow. I would rather look like my old skinny self than a plastic looking surgery mess. Keep all the good work up everyone!!
Anyone having problems sleeping?? What supplement have you been taking to help? Im going to GNC today to pick something up!

Great thanks! I just started taking phen again.. tried two weeks ago and thought i was having too many side effects but giving it another try. This sounds so strange, but my teeth/jaw have been feeling weird. Congrats to everyone who has lost weight![]()
Hello ladies...I haven’t been on in a while but I have really missed all this encouragement and acceptance. I have been doing ok I guess. After my one month checkup with the doctor I was really ampped up cause I had lost 18 lbs. After reading about calorie intake, I decided to up my intake between 1000 and 1200 a day. I was usually eating between 500-800. I am still working out at least an hour 5x’s a week. Sounds great huh? Well I haven’t lost anything in almost two weeks! I have been using Myfitnesspal.com to log everything I’m eating so that I can see what I’m eating. What am I doing wrong? It seems like when I was doing this the unhealthy way I was loosing. Any suggestions would be great.
lmurphy048 - It should go away, I had the same thing. I didn't get a lot of the other symptoms and drank hella lot of water so i think that is what greatly helped. But I would feel my jaw/teeth/mouth and a tension/tightness in it. I wasn't clenching my teeth so to speak but I knew it felt funny. I had that for about the first week and half and then it went away...this is my 3rd week and I haven't felt it at all.
lcarter01 - yeah it's really good your upping your calorie intake! Just stick with it, drink more water, switch around when you take your phen, etc. and see what works best for you. This is my 3rd week and I've only lost 8 lbs. but I'm eating healthy and exercising and feel a difference even if it's not necessarily a high loss on the scale like a lot of other people's numbers. I get frustrated at moments too but know I want it to be a lifestyle change and we'll all have to do our trials/tribulations with food and see what works. I know for me I've cut out processed foods, soda, etc. I follow the fat belly diet eating plan more or less and that gives me the energy I need, in addition to the phen. I thought that would be a good thing to be in the habit of when I get off the phen.

So went to first month Dr.s appointment yesturday I am down to 183, down 2 inches in my waist, and 1 inch in the tummy the girlz have not moved! i was happy with the #'s but at the same time wanted to lose more but I do know I could have lost alot more if I put more time and effort into cardio exercise. I do do stability ball and weights nightly, I really just can't get that umph for the cardio.
It sounds like for the most part everyone is doing good! We all fall down sometimes, we just need to get back up and dust our knees off!

I bought the Sketchers Shape-ups and started wearing them on my lunch walk. Wow, I really felt the burn in my legs today on my walk. Has anyone else tried these?
Hey there.. how do you like them??? I have been contemplating getting them but thought they were just another gimmick or something.. So let me know, maybe ill try them.. By the way.. I stopped Phen for a week because it wasnt working and then went back on to lose 3 lbs in a few days..So stopping for a few days has most definately been effective for me!!
Yea Ive been doing the same thing. I dont take my Phen on the weekends and I usually do usually do 2 days on 1 day off. This way my body doesnt get immune. I think I am going to try to half em because I get super hungry at night too.

Men try and be supportive by telling us what they think will most often comfort us... If you don't feel comfortable in your skin tell him how you feel.. Also when my hubby used to say that, then I would bring up health concerns and how we are not getting any younger. Its nice to have someone stick by us through "thick" and "thin" but the older one gets the harder it is... so anyway maybe talking to someone else who understands may be more helpful... try not to be so down on yourself!

this wk has been such a struggle..but i'm hangin in there.. i havent really been bad just not following my diet to a t (low carb) but i am still w/in my cal..but not losing... or basically lose and gain the same 3 pds.. this ****s!!. I have no energy to exercise lately...been so tired w/kids and TOM. I just dont know. I'm so tired of being so big! I sooooo wanna be cute and much smaller this summer but just dont know how to get there?!

Oh Momma I no wot u mean n how u feel hun. I had 3weeks off phen and put 4lb back on, lost 3lb, put the 3lb back on ect ect. I also had me TOM in that time too.
The main thing that got me back on track was realisin that after all my really bloody hard work losin my 1st 1 and a half stone/21lb I was just putin it all back on slowly and wot a waist my hard work (and alot of money!!!, lol) it would have been.
I no its easier sed than done but u also have to keep in mind how good u feel bein slimmer. How does it make u feel bein fitter.
Wen Im sitin here feelin tired n lazy n just wona rest at the end of the day and once kids in bed... and my Wii is screammin my name at me to get on it, LoL. I rememer how good i feel once I have done the excersizes and how it boosts me up.
And also wen ur sitin there feelin lazy just think how good it will feel to be sitin there a size or 2 smaller and sayin no I dont need to excersize 2nite. I can afford to take a night or 3 off cos Iv got where I want to be.

This week I lost 4 lbs which is huge for me!!! I did cardio atleast 4 times a week for a half hr, nothing crazy... also preparing meals, and having handy snacks available really helped. The Adipex seems to be working better for some reason, last month was a wash. I feel like I finally got my mojo back and being slim no longer feels like a fantasy... I know I can do this. Happy Monday everyone, and stay focused!!!
Great Job, keep up the hard work! Is adipex the same as phentermine? I want to talk to my doctor about getting a higher dose from 15mg to 30mg. My scale has not moved in 1.5 weeks. I walk daily and even went 1 mile yesterday in my Shape Ups. I have used them for about 2 weeks now. My legs and butt can tell today that I walked a mile in them yesterday![]()
Hey there! It looks like we're all doing good! I still haven't been able to get my phen. The office is about 100+ miles away. I drove out this weekend and they closed early! I was piiiiiiiiissed!
But good news (sorta) is that I haven't gained or lost a pound. I surely thought that I would have blown up by now (going on my 3rd week with out phen!) But I'm actually doing ok. I had a burger a few days ago, and of course I paid for it! (TMI LOL) So I still stick to my plan.
It was raining like CRAZY these past week, but over the weekend the sun came back shining and I'm excited to start my walking again. I'm glad to see that even though it gets hard - you guys are plugging through! I can't wait to see how we are all doing by the summer!
It's hard to stick to your plan sometimes - but I find that the mini-goals work really well. I have 49lbs to lose in 16 weeks. Which averages out to just 3lbs per week. Although there have been set backs, thanks to a little head start at the beginning, I am still on track!

Hi Mel... Adipex is the name brand which comes in 37.5 mgs its white with blue specks.. my dr wont give generic he says its not as effective. When my scale didnt move I actually took a break for a few days stopped the Phen (Adipex) and it worked better for me again. The scale will move again just dont give up.. what worked for me was eating every few hrs.. its a pain in the *** to cook like that and prepare the foods, but I decided if I want this to work I have to put the time in.. Im worth it, no more eating on the fly... Like i used to... Omg I think Im gonna get those shape ups too people keep raving about them! Just try and stay motivated Mel, it will come off!

My new weigh in day is Thursday now, cos went and got me Phen last Thursday (was on a Tuesday) . I lost 3lb over the weekend tho so back in to One-derland again after my 3 weeks off :-)

I have not posted here for a while (been posted everywhere else). Angie just wanted to let you know I bought the sketchers back in the fall and I like them a lot. I use them everytime I walk my dog and I can feel them in my calves and legs....so I know they must be doing something...
Good to see you back Amber Alecia...nice weather sure makes for getting into exercising for sure and you will meet goal for sure! I hope you get your Phen soon...that would really upset me to drive that far and not be able to get it. April is my last month so I am a bit nervious about not having any....did your hunger go up like everyone else says it does or was it manageable? If you didn't gain weight then I would have to guess it's not that bad and that is awsome that you stayed the same...Good for you!!
I'm happy to lose my little 1.5 pounds a week, (if that) but I know it all adds up in the end and I've learned to appreciate any weight loss since I have to work so hard for it these days to get it to move. I'm looking more at how the clothes fit this month....and working on exercises to make them fit.

Hey everyone! Ive been reading everyones posts waiting until I could post! I started Adipex 37mg a week and a half ago.Well Last week I got a horrible upset stomache and naseau horrible! So i quit for a few days and just started a half a pill this morning.So far so good,it doesnt seem so intense,the whole pill made me jittery,achy jaw,stiff neck,and super talkative! I was trying to eat but couldnt eat much until the evening.Im really hoping half a pill int he morning and half int he afternoon works for me! I lost 12 lbs the first week,but since Ive been off Im sure I put some of that back on! I get my 1 month weigh in ont he 29th!

Keep us posted on how you are doing. I'm super sore today from my fitness test with the trainer yesterday. I was short on time so barely got 25 minutes in on a new machine but burned 300 calories.
Been a stressful past few days. It seems like every minute of the day requires me to be somewhere else and I haven't been sleeping at night which does not help. Hoping things settle down tomorrow and go back to normal.

I have not been on in a few weeks due to no internet access but I'm happy to say that my constant hunger pangs have stopped so i'm thrilled about 1% milk at night which
i hadnt had milk since starting on the pills. During the time of the stomach pains I stopped taking the phen but still ate healthy and drank tons of water and I still lost weight. Now when I see my Dr. everyweek I only take that shots and see if that still helps me lose weight. Since Feb 9th I have lost 14lbs but i'm not ready to stop the program yet because I've done it before and lost all control and ate whatever and gained it all back and then some. Do you all drink milk too? My dr says im not supposed to but I'm not goin to give that up for the rest of my life. I drink 1%. Thanks for you alls support when I wanted to quit and good luck to all you ladies![]()
