    Can i join in with u ladies? I am at my highest weight while not being preg.. shoot i think i was almost this weight when preg w my son who was a 9 1/2 pd baby.. sad huh? well he's about to be 3 and i cant blame baby weight for this one. I've tried phen in the past... b4 i got married and got down to 175 which is a good weight for me. right now i'd just like to see a 1 infront of my number. in the past i've come real close a couple of times within 5 pd range then mess up. i'm starting today along with the 12 day diet to jump start me. i plan on giving up junk food for lent (40days). Once i'm done with the 12 days i plan on doing a modified low carb to get some of this sugar and junk outta my system. Ok well off to browse...

    Hey Ladies!!! I just wanted to drop by and tell you how my first week official weigh in went....drum roll please...I lost 8.6lbs!!! Now it is on to week 2...and my goal is to lose 5lbs...next weigh in will be 2/23/10! Hope everyone is doing well and having a great work week

    I am really feeling god yall, fir the last couple of days I wasnt loosing anything and was starting to feel like this wasnt going to work. Ive been working my butt off at the Y and the scale finally moved im at 296.4! I have an appointment to get my next moths perscription on March 1st and he wanted me down to at least 290....almost there! I think I am goint to start measuring to see if I am losing inches..anything that helps me get motivated. My sons doing good too we workout together. He's going loke 45 min 5 times a week...Awsome!

    When I read this, I thought - 'wow she feels just like i do!'

    This last time on Phen, (i did it twice before) I weighed 292lbs. I have always been a big girl - but sorta told myself that "as long as it wasn't 300lbs... I would be ok". Well when I saw that 292 on the scale, I wanted to DIE.

    Ok - so the main reason why I wrote, was regarding your feelings and being with your husband. I have the EXACT same problem. My guy and I have been together for 1 1/2 yrs. We live together, (pretty much have the entire time.. lol long story) and of course I was chunky when I met him. (about 270lbs)

    Since I gained these last 20+lbs - my self esteem dropped to almost nothing. Ugh.. Of course I was (and still kinda am) waaaay to embarrassed to tell him why or, even how much my weight really bothered me. It was the effect that my feelings made on our relationship that really was the last 'umpf' that pushed me to the Phen this time.

    Anyway - I just wanted to share with you. You aren't the only one! (I won't even get undressed infront of him... I'm telling you - I hate this)

    He tells me that he loves me that way, etc etc, but I know that it's going to take me losing at least 50lbs before I am ok with ME. The one thing that I did do though - for his sake - is I try my best to always be confident; even if I don't feel like it. It actually works pretty well too.

    It was my confidence and beauty within that drew him to me in the first place. I figured out that by letting my weight get to me THAT much - it really worked a number on him too.

    If you don't believe that you are worth it, or beautiful, or worthy enough - no one will.

    I make sure to share my little victories with him, and he encourages me in a very subtle yet supportive way. (because if it he too obvious - I might start thinking negatively) It really helped me feel better about myself.

    I still don't get buck a** naked infront of him (w/o my back turned, cuz I do have b0oty lol)... But I'm not all ready for that frontal yet LOL, and he doesn't know how much I weigh... (when I get lower than him - cool then I might say so) But for now, things are going good.

    Amber and Robin -

    I am right there with the both of you. My self-confidence is at an all time low right now. It is affecting my relationship because I let it. I don't like to get undressed in front of him...and more than that - I don't like that he knows I'm uncomfortable. It puts him in a weird position.

    It's comforting to know that I am not alone. Hopefully we can all boost our self-confidence together.

    Also got me Nails done and got two new pair of glasses yesday too, so had a day really.

    Weighed maself this mornin (3x's, LoL) and I thought I wud have put on but it says Iv actually lost an Ounch or 2
    But we dont do Ounches over here. To me it just seems like takin a feather off a load of Bricks, haha LoL. But I supose any kind of loss is better than nothin.

    I feel really really bloated and stuffed 2day. So goin 2 be a good girl. Well apart from my Ice Cream Pancake later, but otherwise good, LoL and definatly extra time on the Wii 2nite!!.

    Louise, are you sure you're eating enough? A pancake and bowl of cereal seems like way too little. The first time I was on Phen, when I bumped my calories up from 1000 (recommended by my doc) to 1200, I really started to see the weight loss.

    It would really help if yall could give me some food advise and what you usually eat during the day. My doctor told me to try and eliminate dinner, so I usually eat oatmeal with toast with a little peanutbutter on it and a can of low cal soup at lunch. I cant not drink coffee, so Ill have a couple cups of that throughtout the day with just cream. If I do eat something afterwork its a yogurt or some raw veggies or if Im really hungry some cheese and a few saltines. I know Im not eating enought calories, but I am scared of eating too much and not loosing the weight.

    Irobin09, I understand how you feel. You are doing a great thing for yourself and your relationship by being healthy and getting fit! You can do it! We are all here for support and we can all do this! I am posting my routine below. Hope it helps.

    Ok ladies...I went for my first weigh in with the doctor today and I was happy but honestly I thought I would lose more than I did. I lost 6 lbs which is sweet so no complaints there. I don't know what else I can do. I would love and appreciate any advice you guys have for me. Please tell me if it looks like I am doing too much or too little of something. Thanks!

    I usually get up at 7 am and take my phen. (My doctor has also given me a diuretic and I took that for seven days when I first started and she said the rest I can take as needed.) I also drink a cup of tea with 1 packet splenda or sometimes I have coffee with splenda and a bit of creamer.

    Jump in the shower and get ready for school or work depending on the day.

    At 8am I usually eat a bowl of kellogs with skim milk and a boiled egg. If I am pressed for time I will eat a quaker chewy bar.

    At 11 am I have an orange.

    At 1 pm I will eat a frozen meal. (I think that lean cuisine and weight watchers meals are way to expensive for my student budget so I found this meal called banquet and really there's not that much difference in the calories and fat grams and such. It is way more cheaper.)

    At like 3 I will have another orange or a banana.

    I get home around 4 or 5 and when I do get home I have a cup of tea with 1 packet of splenda.

    I go down to the gym in my apartment and I do the elliptical for 40 minutes with an incline of 10 and resistance of 7 and a cool down on the elliptical for five more minutes. After that I stretch.

    I come back up and I take a shower and I make dinner.

    For dinner I eat 1 cup of brown rice and some curry and a vegetable. I have to eat Indian food every day because I can't live without it. I just watch my portions. I also think that when I am done with losing I will continue to eat Indian food so I am not going to deprive myself but rather learn portion control and change my behavior.

    Oh and I drink water throughout the day. I think I should drink more though. I only drink like 40 oz a day...if that. =(

    @ BrewCityBaby - that sounds soo yummy! LOL

    @mel322 - Welcome! Girl - if you can make it work on 15mg - that would be great! If you start low, then as the Phen wears off.. you still have 2 more "dosage increases" left for your plan, if you ever need it. But either way, if it doesn't work, let your MD know. You should be feeling at least some sort an appetite suppression I'd say -at leas by the 2nd week?

    @iTaurus - It's ok to fall off sometimes! as long as you get back on, and don't let too much time lag in between, you'll be fine. Don't let this past week discourage you too much! You've already proven that you can do it - so no reason to stop now ;]

    @Louise44 - sounds like you had a lovely day! lol - I love chardonnay

    @mommaX2boys! - I lost a nice little amount of weight on the phen before too. It's hard to stick to it sometimes. (esp w/ me getting 'to0 hot to tr0t' over here) lol I ended up gaining all 30lbs BACK within that year. (thanks to my love for sugar) But iooks like you've got your junk food crave covered. Welcome and good luck to ya!

    @ninic010386 - congratz on your loss. 8.6lbs is huge! Even if you don't hit 5lbs next week (which you prob will!) you've already got a great head start!

    @lcarter01 - isn't it nice to see the number go DOWN?! Told you it'll come girl. From now on, just keep pushing yourself. I do 45min a day with my son too. It's nice having someone there with you huh?

    @ Casey79 - A good thing that always keeps me going is that my guy tells me all the time that I am beautiful. I used to always have a clever comeback or something negative to say (you know because I was all embarassed lol) - but I learned to stop and just accept it. Really - if we were fat disgusting sea hags.... they would have never shown an interest in us! LOL

    @lcarter01 - I am the worst person when it comes to a real 'food plan'. I was good in the beginning, but now as the phen is working on its 3rd week; I find that I dislike food. I never think about it, or want it much at all. This really works for me, because I've been looking at it more like fuel than anything else. So to put my lil two cents in? I eat chicken and salad pretty much every day (usually for lunch). I skip dinner all together, and for breakfast it's usually a cup of hot chicken broth. Pretty boring huh? It works for me though. ;]

    @thanvi - Hey! Long time no see ;] Good to hear that you're sticking to your plan! You sound like an active lady. I wouldn't worry about the Indian food either! If you get rid of the foods you love... then you'll hate the plan, and it will feel more like a 'diet'. I personally am a firm believer in the whole 'portion control'.

    @amber alicia- yea I really started to feel the Phen on my second week. It helps me to skip taking them on the weekends so on Monday I am rearing to go! I have tree kids a nd a BF that loves fried anything so its like I make two different dinners, one for me and my rather chuncky but adorable oldest son, and the food for the rest of the family. My grocery bill ic crazy!

    @thanvi- bless your heart...I cant stand that elliptical, it kills me I need to do the treadmill and the cycle for a couple of weeks before Ill be able to not die on the elliptical!

    It sounds like everybody is doing great that is aweome I have to admit during the week when I work it is so easy to stick to a diet, but then comes the weekend I have a reallly hard time like last week was my first full week on Phen I lost 10pounds, yes I know probably mostly water weight, but my 15 year old tripped out when I out on a pair of jeans and said she could totally see a difference. But come the weekend and I don't have will power and suggestions on this?

    Yall know the sad thing, I have always been "big boned" but since the last year I have gained so much weight, I cant stand the thought of even trying to have sex cause I know I look gross. My poor BF he has always told me that he thinks I beautiful no matter how much I weigh, but I just cant help it. This of course is outting a strain on our relationship. If I dont loose some of this weight, I will push this great man away.

    Hi ya Ladies

    Vanilla that was a weigh in over night so Id lost that ounce or two from my weight from the day b4. I weigh myself 1st thing EVERY mornin on the Wii, with out fail, LoL. Thats y I was shocked that I lost even that teeny tiny bit. Was expecting to put on cos of the chocy bars and Pancake with sugar on.
    And I dont ever bother meassuring out my cereal or milk like the 40g and 125mg like it sez on the box. I think that works out to about 4 table spoons, LoL


    Mel I started out last year (Oct') on 15mg. 3 weeks worth of tabs. I lost 10lb in 2weeks. The only side effect I really got was the really dry mouth. Which is nothing compaired to how funky u feel on ur 1st few days on the 30mg (Im on now). But on the days comin up to that 2 week mark the good effects of the tabs definatly wore off. I left it over Xmas and started back on the 30mg the end of Jan.
    If ur not feelin it definatly tell ur Doc.

    Off to put kids in bed now and then on the Wii.

    @lcarter01 - I was going thru feeling like this (no sex, etc) real bad right around the holidays. It's sort of like a vicious cycle. You feel un-attractive, then that makes your relationship suffer, then that suffering makes you feel worse, and so forth. Ugh... it drove me nuts.

    I love my grandmother to death. I tell her everrrrything because she is the most non-judgmental person I've ever met. (nothing surprises this woman) When I was going thru this pretty bad, just before the phen, plan, etc... I told her about these issues I was having and how it effected my relationship.

    I am currently in a relationship that has began to move towards the more serious, possible marriage direction. So like any relationship that is an important one, it's been a bit of work. I consult with her a lot. She had quite a few children of her own - and we (including grand kids) depend on her input quite a bit. So I sat down at 'The Table' and told her what was going on. (for those country babes.... a big kitchen table in the middle of the kitchen is like the family draft board... all decisions are made at "The Table" lol)

    After sobbing for like 45minutes, and feeling a little better because I had finally got it off my chest. She looked at me plain as day and said: Here's a question: Have you tried to tell him exactly what is going on?

    The answer was No.

    I never told him. I mean he knew that I didn't like being fat. He knew that it made me uncomfortable. But being that he felt the way he felt about me, he didn't think to consider that I felt that way around him as well.

    This is your husband, boyfriend, best friend, significant other. These guys love us thru thickness and thin. I couldn't talk to mine right off the bat. At first I thought she was bat sh*t really. LOL There was no way that I was gonna stand there and say "I'm not having sex with you because I'm a cow." But eventually it came through. I wasn't about to make this happen, and still lose my guy in the process.

    It gets better - sooner than you think. I promise.

    OMG...you have no idea how much it helps to know that I'm not alone in this!!! I have NEVER undressed in front of my husband. Ever! Seriously, when I got home from work today he followed me to the bedroom and I asked him to please go back in the living room so I could change clothes. He thinks I'm ridiculous for it but I can't help it! Even when we are intimate I don't take off all of my clothes...even if the lights are off! I always have on a t-shirt or tank top. I hate not being confident in myself..and I hate not being able to feel sexy for him. Its just gotten so bad that I can't even fake my confidence anymore. Knowing that I'm not the only one struggling with this does help me though. Maybe we can help to motivate each other and build confidence! Good luck to you, girl! You are doing great!!!

    Ok ladies...I went for my first weigh in with the doctor today and I was happy but honestly I thought I would lose more than I did. I lost 6 lbs which is sweet so no complaints there. I don't know what else I can do. I would love and appreciate any advice you guys have for me. Please tell me if it looks like I am doing too much or too little of something. Thanks!

    I usually get up at 7 am and take my phen. (My doctor has also given me a diuretic and I took that for seven days when I first started and she said the rest I can take as needed.) I also drink a cup of tea with 1 packet splenda or sometimes I have coffee with splenda and a bit of creamer.

    Jump in the shower and get ready for school or work depending on the day.

    At 8am I usually eat a bowl of kellogs with skim milk and a boiled egg. If I am pressed for time I will eat a quaker chewy bar.

    At 11 am I have an orange.

    At 1 pm I will eat a frozen meal. (I think that lean cuisine and weight watchers meals are way to expensive for my student budget so I found this meal called banquet and really there's not that much difference in the calories and fat grams and such. It is way more cheaper.)

    At like 3 I will have another orange or a banana.

    I get home around 4 or 5 and when I do get home I have a cup of tea with 1 packet of splenda.

    I go down to the gym in my apartment and I do the elliptical for 40 minutes with an incline of 10 and resistance of 7 and a cool down on the elliptical for five more minutes. After that I stretch.

    I come back up and I take a shower and I make dinner.

    For dinner I eat 1 cup of brown rice and some curry and a vegetable. I have to eat Indian food every day because I can't live without it. I just watch my portions. I also think that when I am done with losing I will continue to eat Indian food so I am not going to deprive myself but rather learn portion control and change my behavior.

    Oh and I drink water throughout the day. I think I should drink more though. I only drink like 40 oz a day...if that. =(

    I've certainly got the water part down! Man, I drank so much water today..I swear I was in the bathroom every 30 minutes! lol

    How many calories do I need to eat per day?? Because I've been having some problems with getting enough calories, I think.

    On Saturday my total was 602 calories. Sunday was 690. Monday was 585. Now, Tuesday I did consume 1670 calories...but thats because I had a fattening burger and tatter tots for dinner. Today I've consumed 850 calories. I've already had dinner. Do I need more than that?

    Hi guys..

    So today is my official one week mark and I've lost 6 pounds!! Im super excited about that because I didn't really work out or diet much.. But I do feel slightly upset that .. when food is in front of me I could eat it .. I could eat it all! .. Isnt phen supposed to stop you from eating? Or is it just to tuck away most of the hunger and cravings.. Instead of food cravings lately I have been wanting coffee with spenda and fat free french vanilla. But my other half is all worried about me saying stuff like babe I don't like that your not eating I'm stopping to get us something!! I mean crap dont get me anything !! So 20 mins later cheese burger and fries.. great. just what i need ruin my life Is that bad. I'm 207 and my hump is usually at 200 and I would really like to get over it this time.. Any suggestions. ???

    I know what ya mean, Mary. I had to have that little talk with my husband today. He was so sweet and considerate by calling me on his lunch break and asking if I'd like him to bring me something (I rarely get away for lunch at work). He was going to McDonalds for lunch...so I asked him to bring me a grilled chicken snack wrap w/o ranch. Well...he got me 2 of them (b/c he just didn't think one is enough for a meal) AND he ordered crispy instead of grilled. I ate one of them...and he kept trying to get me to eat the other one. And he kept trying to share his fries...and his shake! I finally had to get stern with him and just explain that I need him to support me by not trying to tempt me with things I don't need to eat. He just doesn't get it...

    Marie My thinkin is "What u have to remeber is that the only reason we are fat is bcos we have eaten wen we NOT hungry or already full up."

    Like wen my mate told me about them 1 of the 1st things I said to her about them was "well they might surpress ur appitite but the only Im fat is cos Iv over eaten or eat wen im not really hungry" LoL

    Take for a very good example........ If it werent for havin to cook for my kids and keep them fed I wouldnt bother to get up and do myself something if it was just me. But bcos I am cookin for them and it is in front of me I can still very easily (LoL) eat it.
    So there is a certain amount of Will Power still needed.

    Kinda like the energy thing alot of people say that they can find themselfs quite easily bein able to sit down and do nothing but once they are up and about getin things done they can get on a good mission and the energy arrives.

    Sorry its this bits TMI, but we all do it and we'r all adults, LoL.

    And oh on the S*x thing Iv definatly found my self on the side of wantin it more and bein more sensative.

    But I will be very honest and say one of the things that made me really realise and bring the hole too fat thing to me and make me really want to get dietin and realise I needed to do sumthing was my Belly/Muffin Top wen we n my sons Dad were getin busy. Wen it got in the way and started "slappin", LoL. Ewww gross I no but I bet theres afew of u that no exactly wot I mean, LoL.

    I have also never undressed in front of him and I would seriously have a heart attack and a nut-do at him too if he walked near to the bath rm dr while Im in the bath. But the thing is I no (as I have seen them) that he has been with women and his ex wife was double my size (ie, like size 20's +) and he says Oh if Iv seen them Im not botherd about u, LoL. But I still cant get over it, LoL

    Its funny tho even tho he is definatly a chubby chaser and always moans at me and really gets the hump with me for putin my self down. I sed 2 him the other week wen I started my diet ""The things is wen I lose weight I lose my Boobs (I go down to just a B cup, dont no if US is different). Wot would u rather have a skinner, fitter, woman with small Boobies or a Bigger woman with lovely big Bouncy Jubleys.""

    His reply.... "Oh well I dont mind smaller Boobs"
    So it just shows, doesnt it, haha LoL

    @lrobin09__ My boyfriend is the same way, I mean I have always loved to eat ( Iguess thats what I let myself get to over 300lbs) When something good happened BAM lets go out to eat...When something bad happen BAM...lets go get something to eat...SO thats what he's used to. Yesterday when I told him that I lost 10 lbs he says....Good for you babe, lets go to Waffle House to celebrate! lol

    @amber alicia___Thank you so much for the words of encouragement. Its like I know psychologly that what I am felling is normal when your my size and I know that its all me feeling this way. I also know that I need to learn to love myself wheather I am 300lbs or 150lbs. But emotionally I cant shake the feeling that he really wants to be with somebody that has the "perfect figure". Even though we have been together for 12 years! ( I know this is silly) It does help that I know that other women have the same feelings sometimes!

    Read over this thread while waiting to be approved to join the forum. I feel a lot like some of you do. I am ashamed to go out and dread running into someone I know, especially anyone who knew me all through school and the first couple of years after when I was really small. I got to the oh you look good, you have put on some weight, you look so much better with a little meat on your bones, to oh, you are just big boned. I always laughed at that one. When I was 112 pounds after 2 kids, I wasnt "big boned" so what happened... did my bones grow too? I woke up one morning and realized, hey I AM FAT. No if and or but about it, I was overweight and going by the BMI scale, I am technically "morbidly" obese, but because of my height, I carry it well. I am only 41, have 3 sons and a DIL and my first grandchild. I want to be a sexy granny, not a fat frumpy one.

    Hi to all. I am new to the forum and have been reading all the threads while waiting for activation to post. I am really excited to interact and become energized by the support I see that you all give each other. I started Phentermine early January and am losing weight (about 12 pounds so far) but it not nearly at the pace that some of you have been losing. I am working out 5 days a week at a gym on an ellipitical Precor and am up to 1 hour and 15 minutes. I wear a heart rate monitor/watch and it tells me that I have burned 700 calories in that amount of time. Not sure how accurate this is. I too am having trouble on knowing how much I am suppose to eat (calorie-wise) a day. I do not want to put myself into "starvation" mode by not consuming enough but right now I am taking in about 1200-1400 calories after apparently burning 700. My weight loss is barely 1.5 pounds a week. Seems like I would be losing this much even if I were not on Phentermine. Am I doing something wrong. Any suggestions. I have about 35-40 more pounds to lose and would like to get to goal weight by mid June which is 120 pounds (currently 158).

    I am not sure exactly how the pill works, but when I was on it years ago, I lost 13 pounds the first month, 5 pounds the second and stayed the same weight the third month. I didnt change anything at that time. I still ate what I wanted and didnt exercise and I still lost. I am hoping that by using the pill this time and adding exercise and watching what I eat, I will lose a lot more. My doctor originally gave this to me years ago as sort of a jump start to get me started.

    For the past few years, it is always, well next Christmas, I will be little again. Okay, beach time, doubt we will run into anyone know so who cares if I am fat, I will lose it by next year. Now... I realize it is TIME. No more putting it off.

    @lcarter01 & lrobin09 My bf is clueless too. Just this morning he asked if we could go to the buffet for dinner tonight. Then before I could throw a pillow at him, he said; 'we haven't had fast food in a really long time, huh?' I just shot him a look, and rolled my eyes. lolz

    @Louise44 - I had the same exact conversation with the bf last week! It went something like this:

    me; 'babe... i wanna boob job'
    bf; 'um, why? they're fine the way they are'
    me; 'no - they're gonna shrink afer i'm done losing this weight'
    bf; 'well that's not too bad. how small do you really think they are gonna get babe...'
    me; 'i dunno. like a c or even a b cup. i need a boob job babe, we can finance them'*pretty smile*
    bf; 'nope. i like them this way'
    me; *pouts* 'i don't want tiny boobs. i like mine.'
    bf; 'and so do i - and that's why they're staying like that.'

    So glad I found you guys! Yesterday was my first day and so far so good.

    Decided I had to do something closing in on forty and at my heaviest weight ever! I really don't have a goal set, but anything under 200 would be wonderful. I know I have a long road ahead and so thankful I found this site to get helpful tips, advice and encouragement.

    So far I have had no cravings for sweets, thank goodness but tried to start the day off without my diet soda and I think that has been a big mistake, having caffeine withdrawals. I definately have less of an appetite, which is wonderful and drinking lots of water.

    Wondering if most people who have had success have followed a low carb diet? I needed something quick for breakfast until I map out a plan so I have had a slimfast shake for breakfast the last 2 days. They seem to have kept me satisfied for a quite a while. Just wondering what have others found work best. Breakfast is definately gonna be the hardest, mornings are crazy at my house and I'm generally not an early morning eater.

    Any advice or tips would be appreciated!

    Quickly checking in between the kid's school lessons. I went for my two week checkup last night (which was really like 1.5 weeks, since I was there on a Friday last time)

    Anyhoo, I lost ELEVEN POUNDS! GAAAAAHHHHH! I can hardly believe it! I was so discouraged earlier in the week, I NEVER thought it would be that much!

    I was honestly thinking 5 pounds, max. I started the Phen on the 5th, so that's that eleven pounds in eleven days!

    OMG!


    I'll be back in a while with more of an update, but I just HAD to share this with you all!

    I think sticking with 1200 calories a day is good. That's what my doctor suggested. I actually haven't been counting calories....yeah, bad I know. I just kinda go with it. Sounds like your doing a good job though! Keep up the good work!

    Ladies what are you guys eating and what kind of workouts do you do? I feel like I'm in a rut. Does drinking more water help? I take the pill in the morning but I don't feel the "excitement" anymore. I just kind of take the pill and go on about my day. Today, I have been so tired all day and I have had no energy. I thought the pill was supposed to give energy. I'm confused and I don't want to just give up...as usual.

    Cool A NSV! (non scale victory!)

    So today I was cleaning out my drawers, and I came across a piece of lingerie that I had bought last year when I dropped my first 30lbs. When I gained my weight back over these past few months, I had shoved it waaaay in the back of the drawer (in shame of course) hoping that I would see it again one day.

    Well today in my phen-induced cleaning frenzy - I found this little number and thought 'i'm gonna try it on and see.. at least that way I'll know how far I've got to go'

    I tried it on, and not only did it fit - the top portion around the back was TOO BIG!!!!!!!! I was so surprised, I dragged my full length mirror to the bathroom where the bright fluorescent lights are and stood in front of the mirror.

    Seriously - you couldn't PEEL the smile off my face all day today. I can FINALLY see my waist coming back! I am such a ham - I must have stood in the bathroom for 30minutes. LOL

    Plan: -3lbs per week starting 2/1/10 to meet my 1st mini-goal:
    -60lbs by July 1, 2010 - for my birthday weekend in Vegas!

    Hi again ladies,

    So I finally got my Phen *sigh* feeling nervous about the side effects, it's the speckled pill 37.5 @ 1 a day. I read that some people have split it until their body gets used to it, is that safe to do with this one too?

    I usually drink plenty of water and have been trying to also follow the 'flat belly diet' since it's real foods, granted it's 1600 calories per day, but we'll see how it works for me with the Phen and exercise.

    I've read through so many of these posts and can say I feel so much the same, from getting discouraged to having the self-esteem about yourself. I don't have time to reply back to every single person but am happy we're in it together!

    I'm only taking the Phen for one month and then having to maintain it for one month (as per doctor's orders) so I hope that it's effective for me to notice a change in that time before I have to be off it again. And do that until all the weight I need to lose is gone.

    Anyway, tomorrow morning I will awake and say "let it begin"

    I just picked up my 30 day of phen from my doctor, joined a gym Monday and and SUPER excited. I want to lose between 80-90lbs so I will be right there with ya! :-)

    is it normal to slow down with weight loss after taking phen for a few days or weeks? my weight seems to be stuck at 185 what can i do to start losing again
