    Mornin everyone. Hope everyones weekends goin good.

    Im changin tact 2day cos Iv started to feel just as hungry at dinner time as I would with out the Phen. So Iv read on here that some people find it better if they take it after breakfast.

    So Iv just finished my Fruit and Fibre bowl of Cereal (9am here) then Im gona take me pill at about 11am. To c if that works longer threw the day for me now as my bodies getin used to it.

    Good job on the 10 pounds Amber! I felt the same way when I saw 187 I was just happy to finally be out of the 190's because I have been stuck there for about a year and getting frustrated then giving up so there I stayed! but not this time!


    Marygold just curious to where abouts you live because my Dr is beyond old! I live in california Northbay

    Evening ;] Thx all for the congratz. It feels good to see the number keep going down. My first real sort of 'break thru' is to break 260. I haven't seen the scale say 250-anything since before I got pregnant with my 11 y/o son! (jesus lol) I'm just under 5ft7, and would love to be in onederland by next year!

    @Louise44 - did taking the pill later work out well for you?

    @blu_iz2477 - I'm from the northbay too. I had a doc in Sonoma County (Rohnert Park) who was older than dirt. He was sweet though. I still go up north to get my pills. But I go to a doc in San Rafael now.

    Oh yesss... and - Welcome to all the newbies!

    Anytime I am following some kind of eating regimen, my cheat treat is Banana Spring Rolls from PF Changs. You cant beat Pina Colada ice cream with wonton wrapped fried bananas and caramel sauce YUM!!!

    Does it count as cheating if you eat a skinny cow icecream sandwich? I haven't really cheated per say, ill just decide to eat unhealthy food but still stat within my calorie range. Like tonight I was well within my calories but I had half a mango smirnoff ice cooler and it was sooo good. I'm really tempted to go get another but I won't.

    HI Angie. Click on my Ticker. Follow the instruction n make urs up then u have to copy and paste the bbCode in the Edit Signature box and then click save Signature. Mine didnt show up on old posts. But wen I wrote a new 1 out it was at the bottom. Thats how I done it anyways. Hope u can get it soughted hun. :-)

    Amber yeah it worked well. I think if I didnt have the kids to sought out I wouldnt have had any Dinner but the only thing was I didnt get in bed until nearly 3am last night and my son woke me up at half 6am. So I can safely say Im absolutly nacked tired 2day, LoL. And Iv got a horrible splittin head ache too :-/

    I took it at 11am but it didnt feel like it really kicked in until alot later in the afternoon.

    So Iv gone back to takin it in the mornin. Im a major Insomniac and night owl as it is, I can do with out the extra help, LoL ;-)
    And Im thinkin it might be better to have to use a bit of extra added will power wen it come to dinner time (my main and big meal of the day) Im thinkin it'll help me once Iv come off the Phen.

    Happy Monday everyone! So I had told myself I wasnt go to weigh myself until a week in, but I couldnt resist this morning and I am down 2.2lbs!! I guess I just needed to see that even after one day it was doing something, and it gives me a little motivation for the week. Now if I can just get past the second circuit in the 30 day shred, I'll be doing good. Hope everybody has a good day!

    Oh my good God I feel sooo sick, odd feeilin, dizzy,tired and Awful. Its horrible.

    Iv got extreme dry mouth again (it faded off the start of last week) cos if us remember I posted about not feelin the need 2 drink as much.

    Ma stomach n chest r killin n Iv got the hole lump in my throat thing goin on too. Sorry if TMI, LoL.

    And my Stomach and belly are really bloated too. I sed 2 my mate I feel like Iv got an olympic swimmin pool size amount of water wobblin around my belly.
    I dont think Iv drunk anywhere near too much tho. Maybe its just not digestin and "goin down" properly. It feels like its just sittin there. I dont no

    Iv never felt like this even on my 1st few days (both times).

    It does feel like one of those ones that u feel alot better once ur sick.

    Hello to the new members & welcome! Also @Angie, sorry to hear about your seperation but I hope this new chapter in your life is a great one
    I'm pretty busy today so I don't have much time to comment on each post but congrats to those that have lost more weight! I haven't weighed myself in about a week... last week was very hectic. Actually, the last 2 weeks have been that way. My fiance's grandma just passed away Thursday after a few months of going back & forth to the hospital & then finally, the dr released her since there was nothing that could be done. Needless to say, we've been pretty sad & of course visiting with family a lot. Last week was so busy that I wasn't able to stick to my diet very well. And of course, there was a lot of emotional eating. I'm ready to get back on track this week though! I am convinced that I didn't lose much if any at all this past week. So I'm going to get to the gym every day if possible!

    Cheat: I've only been changing my eating habits since Friday...I haven't cheated yet. However, when I do - I imagine it will be a piece or two of chocolate from my Valentine's Day box.

    Selene - I'm sorry to hear your sad tidings. I wish comfort for you and your soon-to-be family.

    Louise - I feel sick, too. However, I think mine might be allergies/sinuses/post-nasal drip. Ewww. I hope you feel better.

    I took a little break off the phen over the weekend. The only bit that I really noticed was no dry mouth or runny nose. (yes, phen gives me the sniffles! LOL)

    @Louise44 - It looks like the phen doin a little number on you over there ; The only thing that seems a little scary was your mention of chest pain? I'm not an MD by any means, but I've worked with them for years. So I apologize if I sound like a Ms Nosey Know it All - but pleeeease promise that if this chest pain stuff gets to be an issue, you'll talk to your MD asap!

    @Selene83 - Good to see that you're on track! I def know what you mean by 'emotional eating'. I am a total comfort food person. Congratz though - looks like you are down 17lbs! So I hope you aren't feeling bad about slipping a little, because it looks like you're doing fab!

    @lilmama11 - Did you happen to look at the label and see how much cals/carbs, etc? Sometimes if it's not listed (with alcohol a lot of times it isn't) you can even look it up online.

    My cheat treat this past weekend was a vodka cranberry (or... two...lol). A lot of alcohol has a lot of fatty/sugar content. I love sweets, so I'm a little too weak to allow myself a cheat from the dessert cart. (I just might not stop LOL) So my thing is on the weekend, if we go out, I still will get to have a cocktail. Not as exciting as chocolate mousse or a cupcake... but it works for me

    @Casey79 - I agree! Healthy holiday eating is such a pain. I'm not sure of what I hate more... not being able to have any sweets, or having to 'pass' on them in front of everyone else... LOL

    Whatever - we are all going to be some hot hot mamas come this summer!

    One of the smaller bottles is 228 cals and I think 32 carbs! That's why I only drank half lol.

    @lilmama11 - ah yessss... the carbs! That's why the alcohol is my 'weekend' cheat. Those pre-made drinks tend to be full of sugar too, so I try to stay away. You can get away with a lot of the same tastes if you make it yourself. The one rule of thumb that I follow for myself is no beer, or any other dark liquors. So no tequilas, congac, whiskey, etc. Vodka is usually the base, and you can pretty much do anything (taste-wise) with that.

    There's also that bacardi rum. But I'm not too much into the rum. They used to advertise that "0 carb" cocktail. Diet coke + bacardi O I think.

    Hello everyone! I'm not really a newbie (hence my user name!) but I just restarted phen today. I turn 30 in May so my goal is to lose at least 30-40lbs by then and the rest over the course of the year. I was actually down to 201 the last time I was on phen back in November of 2008 but stopped for some reason. I really can't believe I let myself go this bad! I was blaming my weight on pregnancy, but I think since my little girl will be 3 years old this year, I can't say that anymore, LOL! My main goal right now is to get out of the 200s!     Hi everyone! Another newbie here. I just started Phentermine yesterday (2-14-10) and I'm really excited to see results. I'm also doing Weight Watchers online, my second attempt at that and I've been doing that almost a month and have lost 9lbs. My goal is to get to 145-150lbs by October when my wedding will be, it's been a HUGE motivator for me. Short-term goal is to be in the 180s by Easter time. I'm excited that I'm almost out of the 200s, I think the last time I weighed under 200 pounds was the end of 2006. My highest weight yet has been 248 which I weighed in June of 2008. I got from 248 to 212 in a year and a half without really trying too much (I can only think what I could've done in that time had I tried!), basically did a lot of walking but hardly watched what I ate. Anyway looking forward to knowing everyone in this community!

    Not too much to report today. I'm starting to wake up pretty friggin sore from the walking... but that means it's working right ;D

    @lilmama11 - oooh I'm not too sure on what you could make without having to taste hard alcohol. My suggestion was going to be a mango vodka martini, which is still high in sugar, and you would only need one or two... you know.. get a buzz. LOL

    @Louise44 - Congratz on your -5lbs! Glad to hear your discomfort isn't a serious one. I can't wait to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight either! At the rate you're going - it sounds like you'll be pre-pre-pregnancy weight by your son's birthday!

    so i was doing great and had lost 11 pounds, but i got my TOM and now no matter how much i hit the gym or if i hit my calories, or eat less or eat more, i cant shed even .1 on the scale... any one have any advice? i go to the Dr. next week and really dont want to only go in with the 11 pound loss... (btw TOM is over for 3 days now so i dont think its water weight)

    What I like to do is mix vodka with seltzer water (no cals in that) and then add in part of a Crystal Light packet. I used a grape one awhile back and it tasted like Grape Crush. so all in all its only about 70 calories if its a single shot of vodka and a whole little single serve packet of CL. I do this when I dont feel like ****ing down a days worth of calories while I am out with friends

But today...I took the pill at the same time I have every day...but haven't had any of the side effects AND I've been hungry all day!! Whats up with that?? lol Has anyone else experienced that? Am I doing something wrong??

    when you were not hungry were you still eating? you have to keep up with healthy eating even if your not hungry, otherwise your body will be starved, and you wont lose weight, you may even gain it. if you havent been eating at LEAST 1200 cal. a day then thats why you are so hungry today!

    I had a 100 calorie yogurt for breakfast all of those days..and skipped lunch b/c I just couldn't make myself eat...and then I had a small dinner.

    you really need to eat, if you cant force yourself to eat, ask your Dr. about only taking half a pill. If you can not maintain at LEAST 1200 cal. a day then your doing harm to your body. I'm a big girl, I keep up between 1500-1800 cal a day and I lost a good amount of weight in my first two weeks by forcing myself to eat right and exercise.

    So day 3 and I think I am doing okay. I am definitely having to force food down which I dont like. I have been trying to stay up near 1100-1200 but it has been a challenge. When I weighed myself this morning I am down 3 pounds since I started, and I also managed to get through the full level 1 on the 30 Day Shred DVD..woo hoo! The first day I did it I made it through the first circuit and thats it lol. but dang is that dvd a hard right now! So hopefully this will be a start to getting back in the habit of working out everyday like I used to. Hope everyone had a good day

    I just started today! I previously started in November but was very unhappy with the clinic I was going to. It felt unsafe, had an in and out feeling, and did not seem legit. My pills didn't look like any of the ones I did research on.

    I was finally was able to have my family Dr. prescribe me Phen. He started me out on 15 mg and before I took 30 for a week then I quit. He said we can increase but wanted to start lower. I have not set any goals yet because I don't know if 15 mg will be enough. I would eventually like to get about 60 pounds off.

    I'm really interested to hear everyone else's daily routine while using phen. My doctor certainly wasn't very informative on what kind of diet I'd need to maintain or what type of exercise routine would be best. As you can see from my pictures...I've gained ALOT just over the past few years and I feel so miserable! I hate who I see when I look in the mirror. My weight is also starting to effect my marriage because I don't feel good about myself. My husband says he loves me for me and thinks I'm beautiful...but until I feel beautiful I'm afraid he and I will continue to have problems. Since I have no confidence in myself I don't feel that he finds me attractive. I wish I could fix the way I feel...but, like I said, I don't think there's any other way to fix it besides losing weight!!! Does anyone else feel this way?? Can anyone give me some words of wisdom??? ...I've never been skinnybut I used to at least be happy with my weight. Sorry if I'm rambling...I'm just so desperate for change.

    Default ...its been a WHILE!

    hey everyone, sorry for the absense. work has been hectic all week thanks to the snow. heres a little 'update' since the snow prevented me from hitting the gym, i didnt get to work out for a week. the most i could get in was the 10min patrols i do at work every other hr. around 40mins a day (more on the days i did doubles) so im hoping that was enuff. also i havent taken phen since my last weigh in i believe. i wanted to see if i could control my urge to eat. i prepared my meals as ive been doing since i strted but i still ate when i shouldnt have. i didnt eat bad (i swear) but im a little upset that the lack of excersize may have stunted my weightloss. i havent weighed in yet but i just feel like i may have gaaained lol idk. i look in the mirror at my body and i tell my self YOU LOST 16LBS! but i dnt see it at all. any one else had a moment like this? or am i just looney.

    anyway i just had to get that out....! i read thru the last few pages i missed. lots of new commers(YaY) welcome to the thread. i see lots of progress on here for the feb starters. u guys r doing so good. keep it up. if i dnt get back to u guys 2mrw ill definately be back by monday (hopefully friday) to let u knw how my doc visit went.

    Hay Guys.

    Well my diet yesterday was::::::

    9am = Bowl of Kelloggs Fruit n Fibre, Semi Skimmed Milk

    11:30am = Took Phen.

    Some time in the afternoon = 1 Dark Chocolate Mars Bar and 1 Double Bounty Chocolate Bar (my treat, aint had chocy in about 3 wks)

    About half 6pm = 1 Pancake with Lemon juice and Sugar on. Lucky I was too busy to have my one with Ice Cream on, LoL. Still got sum mix left over so might fit that one in later 2day, LoL. It was Pancake day/Strove Tuesday here yesday, Ur Mardi Gras (sp)

    Didnt get on the Wii either. Sat on me big Butt (LoL), drunk a lovely glass of Chardonnay and watched The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Brilliant film by the way, if not abit weird watchin the absolutly gorgeous Heath Ledger.
    Also got me Nails done and got two new pair of glasses yesday too, so had a day really.

    Weighed maself this mornin (3x's, LoL) and I thought I wud have put on but it says Iv actually lost an Ounch or 2
    But we dont do Ounches over here. To me it just seems like takin a feather off a load of Bricks, haha LoL. But I supose any kind of loss is better than nothin.

    I feel really really bloated and stuffed 2day. So goin 2 be a good girl. Well apart from my Ice Cream Pancake later, but otherwise good, LoL and definatly extra time on the Wii 2nite!!.
